Smokiam RV Resort — Reviews

We had a really great time during our week-long camping trip at Smokiam RV Resort. The only downside and the reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five was a group of Latin American campers who loved loud music; on our last day, they really bothered us because their speaker was blaring at full volume, which we didn't appreciate. Even the staff driving through the rows didn't say anything to them about it. Also, kids and teenagers were riding electric scooters at breakneck speeds between the rows and ignored our requests to slow down; we have children under five, and the situation looked very dangerous.

It was very nice to be there, we had a lot of fun , it wasn’t super crowded! The only thing it was awful it was when we went to sleep people talked so loud and didn’t care that others have babies or not that are tired ! I wish there was a person in charge that took care of those who were noisy and not good towards evening !

The traffic is very noisy made it really hard to slepp at night as well as some of the other patrons were really loud a few of the nights as well.

We had a great stay. It was unusually hot so very grateful for the pool. The camp sites were nice and clean. Some had more grass than others but we were still happy. It was nice they offered activities for kids and had movie nights. The store was nice a clean and offered a lot for the size. The staff was pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall stay was nice. Couldn’t use the campfire due to the campfire being too close to the tree. Sprinklers turned on at night getting everything wet outside.

We go this camp every year. I dont know the owner changed or what but this year the service was really bad. Bathroom was dirty with no tissue.

Loved it so much we booked Memorial Day weekend!

Amazing location, love the amenities, facilities are clean and functioning, and staff is very responsive

The adult hot tub , kids hot tub, and pool were not open to use and I wasn’t aware of this prior to booking. It would have been nice to know ahead of time.

This place is amazing! A bit of a jaunt for us to visit family & friends; but overall a wonderful place. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly & professional. Laundry & shower facilities were always immaculate. The sites them selves have nice spacing between them, very level & clean. Loved the Astro turf & it kept everything so clean. We enjoyed Gracie’s Place several times. My husband was particularly fond of their milkshakes. Gracie, Dustin & their daughter were fun, friendly & provided excellent meals & beverages, and great conversation. Gracie makes a mean margarita; I highly recommend it. The long term rate was very attractive to us. We are hoping to stay with you again for a month in 2025!

Basically the site is in a good condition. The grad is mowed, the slots are clean. But that’s about it. The bathroom do not get cleaned every day, the laundry room probably not for month’s. Especially after Labour Day there is quite a lot to clean and take care of. It didn’t 😕 They charge 15 Dollar for early check in (1,5 hours) even though the slot was empty. Last not least: They claim to be pet friendly, but one of the employees (or was it the owner?) keeps his two huskies in a small cage in the sun. Like those chicken in the industry. That doesn’t work together!!! And it made me pretty sad.

Pool was not clean.

Pool was not clean and wifi was not working.
