Campground was quiet, peaceful, and the best part is definitely the location on Deep Creek directly at the national park entrance. You can rent tubes here, shop at the general store, and there is a small grill style restaurant on site / next door. They also had some live music & karaoke on the weekend nights we stayed. Reasons for not being 5 star: only 1 bath house with showers and 1 of 2 showers appeared permanently out of order. The sites are also extremely basic and very snug. We stayed in the "deluxe" double RV site on the creek. It was fine for two families to tent camp, but it was honestly about the average size of a single RV space at most campgrounds. (We owned an RV for many years and travelled extensively).

The staff at this campground were very friendly. The location of this campground is fantastic and close to the water and the smoky mountain entrance. It has a little store and tube rentals. However, the sites are very close together. The bathrooms could use an update and the showers are either freezing cold or scolding.
