It was a wonderful play to stay. I am a senior woman traveling on her own with her dog. It felt very safe and the camping grounds are great. I will be coming back again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Incredible showering facilities. Nice camping spot although at times a bit close to other camping sites.

Lovely nature based campsite - friendly staff and beautiful setting. Accessible to Sooke on foot (40 minutes) and Whiffin Spit on foot (1.5 hours) or by car Would stay again 😊

Great campsite with fantastic laundry and clean and tidy bathroom. Also had well designed sani spot . Little noisy and got woken after midnight. Staff friendly and helpful .

We love Sooke River! The staff is super friendly, they have great facilities and the non-servcie spots by the river are excellent. There are games & books to borrow, or you can just sit and watch the amazing nature all around.

The people running the campsite are very welcoming and friendly. The campsite is being well kept. I have been camping here for many years and by far this was our most comfortable stay, we have already re booked for next year and are looking forward to it.

It was our 2nd year going to this campground with the same other family. Always clean the campsite itself, the washrooms. Hopefully they will just add another site for washing dishes, its quite small for the number of tenting sites they have. But overall five stars

The staff are amazing and so friendly! They made everyone feel so welcome and accommodated, especially the kids! The grounds were clean and tidy! We got to see the resident bears that live across the river, as well as get close with the local swan that goes up and down the river!
