Sooke River Campground — Reviews

Rated5.0out of 5Fantastic!
Absolutely incredible stay this weekend - including a fantastic shower that was not only clean but the water was hot and lasted longer than I ever imagined for just $1.00! Kind staff and beautiful views with endless wildlife sightings!

Absolutely delighted with our stay at this Campground. The setting was picturesque the campground is well maintained and it's in a beautiful location on the Sooke river. The hosts were incredibly accommodating you made the whole experience effortless; their friendliness really stood out. From the booking to check out was smooth and straightforward. We had such a wonderful time we've already planned our visit for next year.

The showers are the nicest I’ve seen in a campground. New and modern tile and clean! 👌

The staff was extremely helpful, we had a great stay other than the wild thunderstorm on Saturday night, we were in a tent so it was quite brutal, but again, very nice facility and we will be back, will also tell our friends! Thank you Sean & Yvonne

The best campground in the area, offers a very nice river view, campgrounds are spacious, toilets and bathrooms are super clean and smell free, staff are friendly and tentative, specially Stella, thanks Stella. Will not recommend (being selfish and don’t want it to be too crowded in the future) Definitely will come back soon. :)
