It was quiet except for the wind it was a great place to stay

Great place. Highly recommend

It was such a nice place … I loved loved loved the woman’s bathroom/shower. They had closed the bathrooms at one point because of preparation for winter weather, BUT, were very nice to reopen immediately so I could shower. It’s a WINDY place, so, be advised of that. We were there 9/26/25 for a week.

Owners were very helpful and accommodating. The place was clean and maintained well, the upgrades done were done well. It's really great people that run the place.

Convenient location to Mt Rushmore, Badlands and Rapid City. Helpful and hospitable hosts. The cleanest and nicest bathrooms and showers I’ve seen at a campground. Level, gravel we’ll maintained sites.

Campground hosts were super nice and informative. We took their advice and took a bus tour through Fort Hays, which took us on the Iron Mountain and Needles Highway in the Black Hills-2 areas that we could not take our rented motorhome through.

The park was clean, the sites we level and wide, the management was very friendly and accommodating.

Great location, big sites, friendly staff, well maintained

Nice, quiet stay. Centrally located to Rapid City and all the attractions. The hosts were very welcoming, and we had 3 rabbit neighbors that hung out every evening.

This park doesn't have the amenities and polish of the nicer (and more expensive) parks but it was in the perfect spot for our excursions to Custer State Park, Needles Hwy, Iron Mountain Rd, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Keystone, Deadwood, Sturgis, and everything in between. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. The sites are exceptionally wide and "big rig friendly."

From reservations to staff, this even park met our expectations. Would definitely recommend

Staff (owners) very friendly. Location is great convenient to Mt Rushmore, the Badlands via Red Shirt. Wal-mart is an easy 15 minute drive in Rapid City.
