Peaceful week there. Able to do laundry. Only issue: No showers.

No WiFi ugg.

quiet, clean location and friendly folks

In three days and several telephone calls and emails, I never could get a lot assignment, despite the fact that I paid and checked in on line. Messages and emails went unanswered. There is ghost management. So I picked a spot. I think anybody could just come in and stay at will and not be bothered! I have never experienced a business and campground run like this.

Quiet and everything worked.

The site was not as wide as the other sites. An above ground water pipe took space away from our site. The people we met were fantastic.

No one was staffing this campground. No phone calls were answered and no messages returned. The utilities at the sites were as advertised. Sites were not level for those in campers that do not have leveling capabilities. No public restrooms or showers. Location was excellent.

park was clean and quit. Location close to down town. Just over the bridge. Not the place for in park activities. Internet not very good and no cable.But for the price worth a look.

The place is very clean and well kept. The people are super nice. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the location isn’t ideal for being able to ride bikes or walk dogs etc. It’s very small and a lot of traffic outside of park. It’s quiet and they do have things going on at club house but I had to drive dogs to dog park so they could get exercise. There is no place for them in the RV Park. The roads inside the park are very narrow but workable. Our RV is 40’ 5th wheel and the turn in to the park is a bit tricky.

This RV park seemed unorganized. Overbooked the sites. There seems to be lack of communication with online booking sites. Laundry washers were both out of order. Good location.

Constantly have to leave messages since no one ever seems to be at the office. We had no electric, and no call back when we reported it. We never actually stayed, we left the park, and called on our way back home. Still have not received a return call. No bathrooms or showers available at this location; keep that in mind, you MUST be self-contained. Not at all what we expected!

I have mixed feelings about Southwind. It was very unsettling to not be able to reach anyone at checkin. After 2 hours and four phone calls to the emergency number we went in and chose our own spot. Eventually we asked the rubbish collectors what was going on and one of them said, oh, you’re in the wrong spot and have to move, but we could chose our next spot which ended up being very nice. We would probably go back since we finally figured everything out.

The lot was not mowed when we arrived and there was at least one bag of garbage that we had to pick up. Several piles of dog poop we had to clean up before we could back in. The previous guest left a moldy carpet that we had to roll up and throw away. The camp office is only open Mondays and Thursdays. The gentleman was very nice to us and helped us with things to do in the area. this is located in a very convenient area to Fort Meyers and lots of things to do.

Quiet community close to airport . Nice laundry facilities.

Great location, friendly people.

No one ever followed up with us. Manager never called. A person that lived there found a site for us. Defiantly not a friendly stop
