Great park and friendly atmosphere

Nice people and neighbors. Nobody to see from the management.

When I arrived my reserved spot was already taken by another camper. The manager was not available to troubleshoot. On the suggestion of another camper I took a spot. A few days later another camper arrived and his spot was already taken. Same thing, only the manager gave him another spot. The system they are using is not working, domino effect. Some time a camper will be shut out of a spot while holding a reservation in his hand. Thus the poor rating. I was expecting the manager to stop by anytime and force me to move, which I was not moving at his expense after I already had a reservation paid for 9 months in advance. Steven

Before I get started - NOTE that there are NO showers. First off a “greeting party” of mobile home residents ended up being the greeters in absence of a staffed office. It seems like the present owners are running things pretty much absentee except for a manager who we never did see, and a grounds guy who was very nice, once we finally met him. The signs instruct to call the office number which is routed to an answering service, and the call from the onsite manager didn’t come until the next morning. The campsite was rutted and another camper said that several others had been moved out of it after their campers started tilting. The maintenance guy went and got boards to put under our wheels and jacks. The area isn’t well kept at all. The electric box at the site next to us was knocked down and a live wire rubbing it. The guy who moved in there got shocked. This campground needs renovation.

Everything at the camp ground was working shortly after hurricane ian. The internet was not but no big deal.

Nice, quiet, easy going area. Will stay there again, thanks.
