Springwood RV Park — Reviews

We needed a place to stay one night in Greenville to visit a dear friend on our way to our final destination, this site was the closest. I don't bother checking anything other than Campspot as I trust the site was carefully vetted. This reminded me of staying at a cheap motel :(. I called enroute to verify my site and the desk person seemed very confused about my reservation. Check-in offered little help other than a map. The permanent sites featured car repairs in progress and a loud sports car coming in and out. The nearby road was busy with loud trucks, and there were very bright lights shining into our bedroom at the overnight spot all night. I was as disappointed with Campspot as I have ever been in listing this facility. Maybe I should have checked ratings closer (thought I did).

The communication was good until we got there. We were told a specific spot but that spot was taken when we got there. I called the number but no one answered and no one called us back. The site was fine but if I’m picky the water spicket was super low to the ground making it hard to use a purifier and the sewer connection was warped which made it hard to get a good seal. The people we met were super nice and the cat colony was cute and very friendly. We had our dog with us and other dog owners were nice but there was limited grass that was not is someone else’s camper space. The spaces were close but not as close as some other spaces we’ve stayed and it was super quiet! The roads were very used and bumpy but not too bad. Overall a fine place to stay for a few nights.

We stayed there just one night and it was okay

It was somewhere to stay. Nothing more, nothing less.

We had a good stay. I would say this is more of a stop than a destination. It seems like there are more full timers (which is totally fine but it’s just not a typical campground). There is nothing “to do” here. We took our dog to the dog park and there is a preserve with walking trails very nearby. All services worked at our site and it was a pretty level gravel site. The water slicker was at the bottom of the post so we could not connect the water regulator or filter but it was fine. We filled our fresh tank and used our water pump.

The two married couple that helped up with our broken camper leg were so happy and kind and helpful!!!!!! They were so amazing!!!!

It was good. I really wish you could have a camp fire outside and there was no train through the park.

Campground was very clean and our site was so close to the bathroom. We were late getting in and out early so we never saw the staff, but they communicated with us very effectively. Perfect for a one night stop!!!

Good location for what I needs.

We left early. Noisy roads, trains and planes. Unkept, dirty, and I didn’t feel safe. The RV’s in our area were packed in like sardines.

We got there 1/1/2023, 1:40 pm. The office was locked, with other reservations taped on the door and a note saying they were closed for the holidays but would be open on 1/1/2023. I called the number and received the answering machine. Pressed 1 for an emergency and had to leave a message. We saw a resident and my husband walked to the host, with a cane, who told him to pull into one of four spots. No code for the bathrooms or Wi-Fi password. We had to go back to the host and ask for the bath house code. Very unprofessional and no customer service.

Not a resort, but a nice park when needing to stay over in this area. There are railroad tracks that runs through the center of the park, but fortunately we only saw one train go through around 6pm and the park stayed quiet the rest of the time. We’ll still be happy to stay again when back in this area.

Bathrooms were not clean.

There was a mix up with our reservation but they were able to accommodate us with little trouble.
