Spruce Grove Campground — Reviews

Need to clearly define the difference between the two campsites and update the address on the welcome email so it doesn't take you to the wrong campsite at the actual Fairmont resort, Sahara was great on the phone and very helpful but arriving at 11 o'clock at night and going to the wrong campsite is a disaster for weary travelers.

Site was ok but showers really need repair. Missing tiles on walls and not very clean.

Stayed for 3 days and pool was under maintance all the time. When my child asked an employee when the pool was going to open, he simply said “maybe today, maybe tomorrow, maybe next week- I don’t know!” And just walked away.

Beautiful campground, took a walk a long the river side, amazing views of the mountains. The only disappointing thing was it's was supposed to be full service, but Infact the raw waste connection was not operational, like most them are in that section.

Campsite was clean, and we absolutely love it here. We have been coming here for many years. Nothing fancy but its a great location, and has a wonderful beach by the river. Close to Fairmont Hot Springs, Windermere, Canal Flats and Invermere. Great place to camp!

Only one working women’s toilet for the entire long weekend. Facilities were also not maintained and cleaned.

Our stay was great. The park has a major draw in the beach/creak adjacent. The rating could have been higher if two areas were improved. A. The rods need grading especially near the office area B. The RV sani-stations area sloped away from the the sani hole. Grading to slope Godard the sani hole would tilt RV’ s thereby facilitating more complete holding tank dumps.

It’s beautiful there but our site was used as a path to the beach area. There was constant traffic until we managed to block the site with various things. Otherwise, it’s a nice spot.

The pool could be more user friendly. Those people who have kids look forward to using it. It’s either under repair or to cold to go in.

We were staying in 247 and my mother and father in law were in 249 Beautiful views but because we were right on the river we got a lot of other campers cross g through our sites to get to the river/beach. To us it seems a bit rude to pass through someone's campsite. Of the campground could provide better access to the river that would make it a 5 star place to stay. That being said we will likely be back next year.

Although the campground and campsite was really nice to stay at. The people that we were next too partied all night and we're up until 4am for two nights of our stay. There was no one from the campsite actually coming around asking people to be quiet and respectful of their neighbors. We have four children and getting them settled and to stay asleep was quite difficult with the noise and partying going on next to us. I know the neighbors on our other side of us also had trouble sleeping because they commented to us about it. We ended up cutting our trip short leaving a day early to head home because we hadn't slept in three nights. However the swimming pool was nice, and being close to the fairmont hotsprings was great.
