Statesville RV Park I-77 — Reviews

The grounds were well kept and the sites are roomy. Close to interstate but not a lot of road noise. We had an ideal site (6) near the dog park. We were visiting friends near Lake Lookout and this was a good location to commute. It did not hinder my stay in any way but I did not give 5 stars because: no fire ring, only one bath house (at the main entrance) and the bathrooms are clean but desperately need a refurb. Great location and would stay again for a quick night on the way to anywhere.

Nearly every space needs leveling Plus the surface isn’t hard enough so everything leaves dents

No WiFi, park more than half empty and the owners were overly concerned about parking.

The staff were very friendly campground was nice, clean, and well maintained. We have stayed there in the past and will continue to stay in the future.

The park was well kept and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were also glad to learn of the work they do there in helping veterans, and those who been affected by Hurricane Helene. Would highly recommend!

Clean and great dog park!

The park was clean and well organized. Cell phone data rates were very high with speed test reporting 721 mb down and 136 mb up. In the park WiFi was a slowish open network so I used cellular data to watch TV. Easy checkin and wide paved roads made travel in the park a pleasure.

Beautiful campground, Laundry was clean. A little hard to find. Conformation email should let you know that the campground is down a road that says dead end. We thought we were on the wrong road. We missed the little campground sign.

Families are very clean. RV sites were paved and very well maintained. This is the second time we have stayed here in 3 years. It is better each time. The owners take pride in their campground and it shows.

Quit noisy on the side of the highway

I have been here before and I like the fact it's close to I-77, I stay just overnight so the convince is why I stay, the though are really nice people.

Would have given 5 stars if the wifi had been better. Otherwise good stay and we would come back again.

No room between sites. No picnic table. Ok for a quick overnight

The campsite was clean and well run. The showers are very old so we chose not to use them. Also, be prepared to level your unit - even though they're paved, most sites are not level. Although the GPS indicates a very quick turn onto the RV park road, look carefully for the entrance sign as it's easy to miss, so you may end up back on the I77 then have to turn around (as we did).
