Stetson Shores Campground Rules & Policies

Vacation time is meant to be enjoyable, and we ask all guests to help maintain a safe, respectful environment so everyone can create lasting memories.

Management is not responsible for accidents, injuries, loss of valuables, or damage to personal property. Guests are expected to follow all campground rules listed below.

Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in: 2:00 PM

• Check-out: 11:00 AM

• All guests must sign campground terms and conditions prior to arrival (link provided on Campspot).

Visitors

• All visitors must register at the office and receive a vehicle tag.

• Visitor fee: $15 per adult.

Pets

• Pets are welcome and must remain leashed at all times.

• Owners must clean up after pets and never leave them unattended.

• Pets are not allowed on the beach or in restrooms.

• Pets may enter the water only near the boat ramp area.

Vehicles & Equipment

• Washing vehicles or RVs on-site is not permitted.

• ATVs, dirt bikes, and private generators are prohibited.

• Fire rings must not be moved.

Children & Safety

• Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult 21+ at all times, including at the playground.

• No unattended children at the lake; there is no lifeguard on duty.

• No swimming at night or from boat docks.

Campground Rules

• Greywater dumping on the ground is strictly prohibited (use dump station only).

• Speed limit is 5 MPH throughout the campground.

• Quiet hours are 10:00 PM–7:00 AM.

• Bicycles must stay on roads only; no riding on grass or after dark.

• Maine law requires riders under 16 to wear helmets at all times.

• No soliciting is permitted on campground property.

Trash & Recycling

• Trash pickup is at 10:00 AM.

• Place bagged trash and recycling at the end of your site.

• Only household waste and recycling will be collected.

• Guests must dispose of oversized items off-property.

• Do not leave trash out overnight due to wildlife.
