We have been full-time RVer’s for the past 6 years so we have visited a lot of campgrounds. The roads at Stone Mountain leading to the campground were in bad shape. Where we stayed in Loop R, the spots where the RV’s park are in terrible shape. It was nearly impossible to get your RV level in several of the camping spots. We saw several campers with wheels off the ground. We noticed other loops were nicer. We wondered if, possibly, the park is working on improving loops.

Staying during Christmas time, they had a list of activities that made it family friendly. Park was well kept. Our spot was well maintained. Workers were so nice. Excellent experience and can’t wait to go back!

The road to our spot was rough and bumpy due to the holes in the blacktop. Our spot #360 was blacktop, however, the ridges, holes, and incline made it impossible to get level. This section of the park is in desperate need of repair. The staff in the office and trash pickup driver were professional and very welcoming.

Spot 338 was not a very good site. The asphalt has been broken up and washed away. Sure was not level at all. We had to do some magic to get it somewhat level. The roads in and out had the same problems. We could tell we were in the older part of the campground. For the price, we could’ve found a much nicer place to stay. The staff were very friendly and the complimentary hot chocolate, popcorn and lemonade were nice.
