Fun place to stay! Tons of kids and positive vibes. Seems like most of the park has permanent residents who have cool camping spots! Golf cart parade was my favorite. Hanging outside and roughly 40 golf carts rolled by and we’re having a blast! Made me smile.

We stayed in lover's lane primitive site. The site was large and secluded. It had a beautiful shady waterfront view with access to fishing right from your campsite. The site also had access to a shower house/ restrooms that were well kept, and the water was nice and hot. It also had a few small playgrounds for the children. A few things were disappointing. The campsite itself was not well kept. The fire pit was full of ashes and trash when we arrived, we had to shovel out the dirt and trash to be able to make a fire. The fire pit did not have a grate to cook on. Luckily, we had brought our own. The ground was also very uneven and just dirt. So we were definitely glad to have showers. The park itself had nice playground areas for the kids, golf cart rentals, and many great fishing spots. They have wood and ice you can buy for a good price. The beach was disappointing due to the shoreline being covered in duck feces you had to walk over to get into the water. Overall, we would definitely camp there again for the lake view, fishing, and seclusion of the campsite and the shower house. Maybe try and get a boat rental to enjoy the lake away from the beach.

We have a great time! Nice campground and everyone is friendly. Only issue was our picnic table was broke. Switched it for the neighbors. Wish there were more sites available, most of them are full timers. Overall, very nice park. Staff was super nice and helpful.
