Just not our cup of tea. On the edge of town and next to very busy train tracks. Many golf carts whizzing around. I visited 1 bathhouse 1 time because it was dirty and in bad shape. It's more like a trailer park really, with an entire book of rules.

The park has and always will be one of our favorite spots to go camping and kayak and do all the things outdoors. However the specifics on the cabin we rented could have been a little more detailed. The number 6 cabin is a legit cabin and at some places daylight can be seen from within. It is a one room cabin with a bunk bed and futon so sleeping is a bit cramped for adults. The loft could offer so much more space if cleaned up and made safer for an air mattress or mattress pad! Also the bugs were terrible, the cabin had alot of dead bugs and alot of living ones around, we also sprayed for bed bugs before we made our beds up. Fridge was new and did have a microwave. There is also a porta-pot closer to cabin 5 which wasn't specified either. We will stay again but will stay in cabin 5 its newer and more accommodating to adults and larger families!

Cabin was in good shape and everything was in good working order. Great spot very close to the water. The only negative is they make you pay an additional fee just to get in through the gate house, even though you’ve already paid for a cabin. Seems a little silly to me.

No camp store. Website is not correct in concerns to pricing and amenities. $20.00 a day for a boat launch is a little outrageous.

There is a lot of poison ivy around the cabins, cabin 5 was dirty so we had to sweep behind all the furniture as we found plates, socks and pine needles under the beds. The blinds need replaced. I think if we have to pay a cleaning fee then the cabins should atleast be completely swept.
