  • SCPL Annual Horse Pull

    May 18

    Sullivan County Park & Lake will host the Illinois Horse Pullers Association as they will be putting on a spectacular horse pull for us, Saturday, May 18th at 1:00 back by G. Weigh in will be from 10-noon and the Pull will start at 1:00 pm. You don’t want to miss this. Pullers will be coming from all over to show us their team’s strength. If you have never seen a horse pull, you be amazed! Make plans now to come out and join us.

  • Sullivan Co Park & Lake Memorial Day Weekend Festival 2024

    May 24 - May 26

    Come and join us for a fun packed weekend leading up to Memorial Day. We will have food and market vendors, bounce houses, fun for the kids with "Party on Productions" and live music. The bands kicking us off on Friday night will be "15th & Hulman". Saturday night we will feature the "Mullet It Over" in concert at the Hinesley Pavillion from 8-11 pm. Sunday night's band will be announced at a later date. Follow us for more event updates closer to the event.

  • Fireworks Over the Lake Freedom Festival

    July 5 - July 7

    Come join us for the Annual Fireworks Over the Lake Freedom Festival! Festival will begin at 5 pm on Friday July 5th with food and market vendors, bounce houses and the Abbi Scott Band will be live in concert from 8-11 pm at the Hinesley Pavilion. Saturday, July 6th the vendors and bounce houses will open. Party on Productions will entertain the kids with games, contests and dancing from 11 am to 3pm. We will have a decorated golf cart parade, time TBA. Saturday night the Cornfield Mafia Band will perform from 8-11:30 pm. The band will break for the fireworks over the lake at dusk. Sunday, July 7th the bounce houses will be open along with the food and market vendors.

  • Labor Day Weekend Festival

    August 30 - September 1

    Come out and enjoy the weekend at SCPL. We will begin Friday at 5 pm with food and market vendors, bounce houses and then from 8-11 pm at the Hinesley Pavilion we will have "The Randys Band" in concert. Saturday night we have the band "Naked Under Our Clothes" live in concert also at the Hinesley Pavilion. We will be posting more events closer to the holiday.
