Unfortunately, I didn’t elect to stay at this campground upon arrival. It was very much under construction, there wasn’t anyone inside, no staff or other campers. The sites were unmarked and there wasn’t any guidance or wash/bathrooms. I tried to call the camp host when I arrived, and reached their voicemail. They never responded to my call. A strange woman came onsite and started asking me questions about the campground and I didn’t feel safe. So I chose to vacate the property and requested a refund. It’s been 2 days and I still haven’t gotten a return call or refund. If the campground is not finished or open yet, they shouldn’t be accepting reservation and taking payments.

We're sorry to hear about your experience and didn't intend for last-minute bookings to be available yet. On Monday the 4th we did reply to your email and fully refunded you. There was a long-term camper staying there but the map in CampSpot shows where your reserved site is & what else is onsite. We understand your concerns though and now have dedicated staff in the area to answer calls. We're currently working on permits for signage & improving other issues.
