    September 19 - September 20

    The annual wine festival takes place in September. Next year’s “34th Annual Kirkwood Winery Wine & Music Fest” will kick off on September 19, 2025 (3pm – 10pm) and will conclude on September 20, 2025 (11am – 10pm). Guests from near and far visit the popular festival every year to taste their wine, listen to live music, and partake in crowd-favorite activities to win prizes. You, your family, and your friends are welcome to “Kick off your Boots and have a Grape Stompin’ Good Time.”

    Come join us every 2nd Saturday in October as we gather to honor and remember the 65 fallen and their families.

  • Bridge Day Weekend

    October 17 - October 19

    Bridge Day is West Virginia's largest single-day festival and one of the largest extreme sports events in the world. Held annually every third Saturday in October on the New River Gorge Bridge in Fayette County, West Virginia, this is the only day each year thousands of spectators can walk across the bridge and watch as serious BASE jumpers get their chance to fly 876 feet into the Gorge below and rappellers ascend and descend from the catwalk. Come and enjoy the view from the bridge, one of the best overlooks in the New River Gorge! This is Bridge Day, and it's unlike anything you've ever experienced.
