We loved our stay in this campground. Our site was spacious and had beautiful surroundings. The grounds was peaceful and quiet. The bathrooms were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Location was also very convenient to the places where we wanted to go in the area. We would definitely come back to this wonderful campground!

Bill (the Camp Host) is friendly, professional and great with helpful tips. The owner opened up the gift shop for me on Columbus Day so I could have a look see on what types of beer they sold. He also delivered our Amazon delivery directly on camp site. We would stay at Summersville Lake Retreat again in the future. Highly recommended!

Beautifully kept grounds, trash pick up at each RV site daily, bathrooms were well maintained, ice onsite, firewood was delivered to the site when purchased.

Very friendly staff. Awesome RV spots with nice deck, firepit and chairs. staff took you to your Spot rather than just giving you directions. Garbage cans at each site with daily pickup. Firewood delivered to your site when ordered.

This park has beautiful views of Summersville Lake. We enjoyed our pull thru site with full hook up. Easy in and out from the highway. There was a large motorcycle event going on at the rv park while we were there but it wasn’t crowded because of rain. Check out time is noon. By 11:15 a.m. a worker had already stopped to say to my husband, “You know you’re checking out today, right?” Of course we knew! At 11:30 a.m. I received a phone call with a voice mail reminding me that check out time is noon and that someone was coming into our site. I returned the call but could only leave a message that yes we were leaving and would be gone by check out time at noon. We were gone by noon! Other than that we had no interaction with anyone at the park while we were there.

It was a nice campground, they had people on golf carts riding around tending to all the campers helping out where needed, easy check in and check out.

We stayed in a clean beautiful campground on site #05 above the Summerville Lake. There are beautiful trails, huge pet play yard, cute community fire pit area, and plenty of fun areas including a shipyard playground and ping pong area. There’s a variety of tenting and cabin options too.

Well kept, quiet campground with a gorgeous view! Staff are polite and helpful. Sites are spacious and well manicured. We loved the on site trash can with daily pick up.
