The amenaties were lacking, pools weren't open, mini golf left a lot to be desired, not much going on. Not sure if it was the time of year but was expecting more.

Everything was good; check-in, check-out and campgrounds. Only issue was someone cutting wet grass and the clippings went all over sewer hose and water line just before we were getting ready to pack up leave.

We had a pleasant stay, the compound offers many activities, facilities and shuttler service to town. We had a water front site facing the west, perfect sunsets.

This is a great campground with lots of activities but also very peaceful. Bathhouses were updated and very nice. Pools and other amenities were in great shape. We will be back!

The weather was terrible but staff went above and beyond to keep us safe and we're super accommodating. We went in April which is the off season but I bet it is so much fun for the kids and even has a ADULT ONLY pool.

Site 12 was absolutely beautiful and led right to the dog beach. The park was super empty, and the general store has a ton to offer

I would give it a 3-1/2 star rating. The staff were friendly, the facilities were clean and the price was reasonable. There was a 3 foot step up to the fishing pier where the beach had eroded away and you couldn’t get on or off of the pier except low tide. The flys and gnats were terrible, our spot was right in front of a drainage ditch which didn’t help. The insects were driving our dogs crazy and they couldn’t enjoy being outside. With that being said we enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday.

Overall, we had a great time. Our site was a little hard to locate and back into when we arrived, but someone came and helped us. We had to wait until the group of tent campers next to us broke down their site before we could leave. However, they were very nice and it all worked out. Our site was very pretty, right on the water. We will be back.

Unacceptable dog beach area, no seafood available onsite as shown in various YouTube videos, snack shack closed most of week, very limited menu in cafe (expensive). Piers are nice, easy to navigate campground, great for bike riding. Bath house was acceptable, very wet, but they were trying to dry the floors. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Understand was much better when privately owned. Aug 2024
