This is my second time staying at this campground and it did not disappoint this time either. The RV pull through spot I had was easily accessible. The connections were on the correct side and easily accessible, which I cannot say for some other sites I have been too. I believe the price for the spot was fair for time of year. The staff was fantastic and kept the place very tidy. There always seemed to be a presence of them keeping watch and handling issues. Robert, the site manager (I believe) was extremely polite and great to talk too! The bath house was very clean and tidy so no reservations using them. All of the activities they have for kids are more than enough and this time the arcade was more functional than the last time. Only one machine was inoperable. Pools, bar, lazy river, all great! If I had to list one con, it was the cost of the golf cart rental. Last year when I went, I think the cost was like 80$ per night, which I thought was a bit excessive but manageable. This year they were asking like 100+$ per night for a golf cart rental which nearly equalled what I paid for the site for the 3 nights we stayed. That was completely ridiculous in my opinion. I understand basic economics of supply and demand, but clearly it was top heavy on supply this weekend, where the site was fully booked. There were several unrented carts. I was able to get a friend to come drop off a golf cart for me, as this is basically a needed component to get around effectively. I would say the same for the cabanas. They were very excessively priced for an average person to use. Subsequently, I did not see more than a few of them rented out so hopefully they will adjust the prices to be more accommodating. Still 5 stars and totally recommend!

I’ve visited many rv “resorts “ in the last 2 1/2 month and nothing compares to his place. I love it.

Great campground. A little removed from New Orleans and Hammond.

A wonderful camping experience the was complemented by a very professional and courteous support team.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, as always! Amenities were mostly open this visit. We had a great time, and look forward to our next trip!

Nice amenities and clean

My uncle just died and I was his VA caregiver. My birthday was thanksgiving. Storm came destroyed my awning costing me all my vacation money. I paid for 4th to 12th but left on 7th because damages to RV. The park was beautiful and people were nice.

The pool, splash pad, lazy river, miniature golf, basketball, and pickle ball courts were very nice. We were there in November and the adult pool was heated, but the splash pad was not. The lazy river was not open this time of year. The boardwalk goes around 3/4 of the lake, from the cabins to to all of the amenities. The first few days we were there, the gates providing access to the boardwalk were locked so we had to go all the way around on the roads, which was a hike. If you have a scooter, bike, or golf cart, bring it. If you don’t, they have more than enough golf carts to rent. Staff were more than helpful. The grounds were kept very clean. The showers were some of the nicest we have seen. The camp store was open for a few hours one evening, then we never saw it open again. You may want to advertise the hours of operation a little better.

Reservation was not correct

Cottage stunk extremely bad. I'm assuming it was roach spray since we found dead cockroaches throughout the weekend. Also, the ice maker didn't work. Pools and lake area were nice but you cant access pool/beach area from the boardwalk. Make no sense that there isn't a gate at the end of the board walk but even the gates that are near by are locked

We enjoyed the pools and lazy river, the facility was clean and orderly. Our stay was booked Monday to Thursday and apparently this is the wrong time to book. No accommodations were made for folks who want to stay during "off" hours. The arcade, pool store, adult lounge and water sports were closed all week. The pool bar was only open 2 times our of the 4 days. It is completely under staffed during the week and there were only a few families around. We probably won't go back.

When we arrived our site was not clean. There was a orange that was squashed on the table with flies all over it. The table at the site had a large burn hole in the middle of it. The stores were sporadically open. The grass by our site was high. Not the same place as it was several years back. We go to this camp site 3 - 4 times a year. Disappointed in the way this place is going.
