Many clamping resorts are over crowded and the camp spots seem on top of each other, but this is not the case at Sun Outdoors RM.

Our stay was very nice. We had our 3 kids and spent quite a bit of time away from our camper. Trees would be great but I know that they take time. What they don’t tell you about is the cost of all the extras that you can do. It gets very expensive very fast

Great location for RMNP, kayaking on Granby area lakes, nice pool, great gym, solid neighbors. Spent a month at Sun Outdoors Paso Robles earlier in the year and now, after two weeks at Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountains, Sun Outdoors will always be a top choice for longer stays.

Would have been 5 stars but the hot tub was a weird green color. The park staff is great, very helpful (Keith thank you). The grill and bar was wonderful with live music Sat night. This is a first rate RV resort with anything you would want.

The park and all the amenities are beautiful and clean. The RV sites are very spacious and well kept. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The views are spectacular and the location is very close to Rocky Mountain National Park. We definitely plan to go back.

We stayed in a cabin during October (off season). It was very nice and looked like the pictures. I loved the morning fog, colorful sunsets, and the colors of the leaves. We also enjoyed playgrounds and dog parks. The welcome center told us about a quick hike and we enjoyed that as a family. We luckily stayed the weekend of their fall festival so my daughter got to pick a pumpkin, get her face painted, and we danced to a few of the live band’s songs. The bar staff was friendly and answered our questions about the resort. I would definitely return, but likely when it’s warmer to see the stars, play in the pool and swimming area, and have all the amenities open for the season.

Plenty of amenities. Nice dog parks. When we went it was the off season, so plenty of park virtually to ourselves. Only a handful of campers.

This would be a five star resort if when you pay a resort fee daily and the resort uses the fee on resort amenities. We stayed for 10 days the gas fire pits were not usable, general store was closed, putting green flags broken and no balls, hot tubs were shut down and pickleball courts were not cleaned. We felt the resort fee was a junk fee.

Pretty nice place. We went during a very busy time and we felt like we couldn't enjoy amenities since it was so crowded. More attention could have been paid towards maintaining port-a-potty restrooms.
