Cabins are spacious and have a great view with beachfront access to the lake

Nice sites but a bit "tight". Not all the amenities were available since it was early in the season, but it did appear to have plenty. We enjoyed our week but prefer a little more room at our site.

We have stayed several times and will continue. However I was very disappointed with my site, G46. I paid extra for a paved site only to find out there was no room between my site and 45 to be able to put out awnings and barely my steps. This is a very poor site and should be noted.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Campgrounds were nice and clean. Overall a nice place. The only issue, it felt like a trailer park. Way to many Fulltime lot rentals. To many permanent structures, I.E decks, patio bars, people living 100% Fulltime. I do believe this should be disclosed. It was not a bad experience, but just not the experience we were looking for.

The campground felt very safe. Lots of amenities.

The resort was great!! My only complaint was during our stay from Sunday-Wednesday, the bath house by our campsite wasn’t cleaned the entire duration of our stay.

Poor wifi connection, expensive for a mediocre site. Too many "rules" four double sided pages?

We had a short stay here just to visit my mother in law who is in an assisted living facility nearby. Originally we were schedule around the 1st of October but we live in western North Carolina and could not come at that time because of the damage yo our property and home. They accommodated a change without issue. Checkin was easy. We did use bathhouse which was heated and extremely clean. Definitely want to come back in the summer with our grandchildren.

The staff was welcoming right at the gate when we arrived. They showed us to our site and helped us back in. They were courteous and professional. The campground itself was very clean and had a variety of amenities and events. We will definitely book future stays with Sun Retreats!

We always have a great time here. The aptomosphere is wonderful, family oriented, & great for empty nesters too..
