About

Swan Lake Resort and Campground is a family-oriented Resort and Campground that has been in operation since the 1950s. Although the resort has changed hands several times, it has preserved its reputation for being a cornerstone of the local community and for making lifelong memories possible. Located on Swan Lake in Otter Tail County, approximately 7 miles south of Fergus Falls, MN. It occupies roughly 18 acres of land adjacent to Swan Lake. Be sure to stop by the small convenience store providing tackle, groceries, general necessities, ice, firewood, and souvenirs.

    Enjoy our one and only group camping site. The site overlooks Swan Lake and offers larger gatherings a private setting with 20-30 amp electric, water spigots, and a single sewer dump port. The site is recommended for between 2 and 5 camping units (RVs, campers, tents, etc.), and is more appropriate for rigs less than 30ft. It is approximately 125ft x75ft in size with additional parking nearby. There is a central fire ring and multiple picnic tables. The rate includes access to the swim raft, hiking trails, yard games, fishing docks, ping-pong, pool, foosball, and water toys. We have pontoon and fishing boats available for rent. The base rate is for up to 12 people and additional adults and kids beyond that are extra. During the week it is available for individual campers at a reduced rate but reservations must be made over the phone.     Stay a while. Our Northlands full hook-up + pull-through RV sites make it possible to stay for more than a weekend but not quite the whole summer. Reserve 7+ nights and take it slow. The sites have 20-30-50 amp electricity, on-site sewer, and water with over 3,000 sq-ft of space to stretch out. Most any size camper fits - from 15ft tear drops to 40ft motorhomes. Depending on your rig size, the sites are either pull-through or pull-in & back-out. Once in season, the Northlands sites becomes available for nightly RV Camper or Tent stays based on availability.     Enjoy our beautiful tent sites overlooking Swan Lake. Located a stone's throw from the beach, each site offers a spacious grassy area, picnic table, fire pit and 20amp electrical outlets. The total reservation charges are based on # adults, kids, and dogs rather than # of tents, so feel free to setup 1, 2, or 3 tents at each site. The rate includes access to the swim raft, hiking trails, yard games, fishing docks, ping-pong, pool, foosball, and water toys. We have pontoons & fishing boats available for rent. Note that after heavy rainfalls, the ground can remain soggy for up to 48 hours. Parking for up to 2 vehicles is located a 1 minute walk from the site.     Enjoy our electric & water tent site that overlooks Swan Lake. Located a stone's throw from the water, it offers a spacious grassy area, picnic table, fire pit with a cooking grate, on-site water spigot, and nearby 15 amp electric outlet. The rate includes access to the swim raft, water slide, log roller, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, fishing docks, hiking trails, yard games, ping-pong, pool, foosball, and any scheduled events. We have motorized fishing boats and pontoons for rent. No vehicles are allowed at the site but parking for up to 2 vehicles is located within a 1 minute walk. Note that tents need to be moved every 3 days to help keep the grass alive!     Nice campground. The free to use equipment and nice sites are great. The bathrooms are below par and the price was a bit high.
