The pictures on the website do not match the reality. We rented a tent site for 3 nites. We ended up leaving the same day because the entire site was on a slope and very rocky. There were large rocks sticking out of the ground making the small site that much smaller.

I had reserved sites 29 and 31 in Area 3 for myself and a very good friend of mine. The sites were right up against the lake. Sites were nice and full hookup although advertised as 30/50 amp, but only 30 amp direct with 20 amp also available. No true 50 amp pedastal where we were. Great views of the lake and very clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Store was small but had the basics. The problems arose with the electrical. Both of us have EMS systems, not just surge protectors. We had Friday through Sunday reservations. From Friday night through Sunday when we left our EMS systems were shunting power due to voltage fluctuations. I had a couple high voltage (over 134 volts) but mainly low voltage (under 104 volts) shutdowns during my stay. There was an electrician on site Saturday repairing issues around the campground. Staff sent him over to our area to check into our concerns. We talked to him and discussed what was happening. Showed him my Watchdog and he said that most people had problems with those when they used them. Which told me everything I needed know. It's not a bad campground. If we had better luck with the electrical issues I might have entertained going back. The site was great. But, the electrical problems just left a bad impression on us both. There are nicer campgrounds within 15 minutes that don't have those issues. Is what it is I guess.

There was nothing WRONG with this campground. Quite the opposite - it has beautiful, level sites and was very clean. We camped on thier season opening weekend so there were many seasonals running leaf blowers clearing their sites, things like the rec hall were not quite open for the season, and bathrooms were just being dewintertized. We would definitely camp there again and would recommend it to others.
