The Crossings Campground — Reviews

  • Rated5.0out of 5Fantastic!

Beautiful campgrounds with trees and all the amenities. Hosts were great and friendly. Just be aware if you are a little sleeper you may here the train or traffic early in the morning. However we loved the convenience of the location right off I-90.

No frills. It did have full hook up and internet. The campground is close to the North end of Theodore Roosevelt NP and close to the south end. It was easy access and quiet. You will hear a train occasionally but no big deal to me. I had cell service while there. I would stay again.

Unlevel, noisy, hard to find markings. Would not stay there again. Not really setup for traveling campers.

Great place to stay and visit TRNP. Mostly quiet, restaurant less than 2 miles away, clean. Wish there was more foliage. Would definitely stay again

Easy access from I94, easy reservation process, clean, quiet little campground. We’ve stayed here several times overnight while traveling through.

The campground location was perfect for us while visiting Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The roads in the campground were very dusty. Just some tar and gravel would help tremendously. The website was difficult to work. I even tried to help another camper reserve her site but the website wasn’t working properly. Site 15 has very little space and site marker sign is in the middle of the site were my camper steps were supposed to be extended. WiFi was usable. Location was Great. Just a terrible Dust Bowl.

They were very accommodating with letting me change sites when my rig connections wouldn’t reach in the spot I picked. The site was level. The other campers were quiet and friendly. I would stay here again.

There are no amenities, just a place to park. No extra space, picnic table, or anything.

Campground is fine for an overnight stay. 50 Amp FHU sites at a reasonable price. Close to Roosevelt NP.

The site we had was very rocky gravel. The only site there with some three inch stones. We asked if we could have a different site because of a tree that hinged on us opening a bump out fully and electric box was on opposite side. The fellow we spoke with wasn’t the friendliest and not very accommodating but we managed to make it work.

Just a big field, dirt road in and out. On the positive the utilities were great including internet. Was quiet but some road noise. Only 30 minutes to Teddy Roosevelt National Park South, an hour from the North, and about 20 minutes from the Painted Canyon. Right off I-94. Okay for a night or two.

Was a very nice campground. Very quiet. I enjoyed my time there very much much needed sleep since I was only staying one night. Thank you very much. Easy to find too.

It was a good spot for Labor Day Weekend. It was quiet and peaceful. The only drawback is that you have to drive to do anything. Other than that, everything was good.

This was a nice central location between the Teddy Roosevelt National Park North and South Unit. We have a 45’ RV but it was easy to get into the sites. The sites were FHU and there was good wifi. The CG does not have any amenities like restrooms so you need to be self-contained. There are not any fire rings or picnic tables. We would stop there again.

We had a nice stay at The Crossings Campground. It was clean and quiet with a great view of the sunset out the back. Not sure what kind of burrowing animal kicked dirt all over the septic hookup, but no big deal to uncover it when we needed to use it 🤣 Wi-Fi was some of the best we’ve ever had!
