    The Double Campsites (#4 and #5) have an unobstructed view of the Nantahala River. The Double Campsite (#10) is NOT on the river, it has a river view only and access to the river. These sites can accommodate two tents or one Pop-up camper. Onsite water hookup and a 30-amp electrical outlet included on site #4 and #5. The campsite includes a personal fire ring for your enjoyment. Charcoal grills are available for use within steps of each site. Spacious men's and women's bathhouses are onsite and just a short walk from the campsites.

    Site #10 has power (30amp breaker with a regular outlet) so if you need 30amp connection you will need an adapter. Site # 10 is Not on the river, it has a river view and river access with picnic table, grill, and firepit. Look at the campground map at the bottom of the website for further location.

    Our campsite had a stream of water pour through the site that flooded our tent. We left a day early and stayed in a cabin. We left our tent overnight and when we returned, the tent was flooded again after a rain storm. .No the tent didn't have holes in it.

    Camping at The Hala was great. Campsites were a little small. Bathroom and shower was decent. Overall was a great little camp spot.

    This was a fantastic campsite. Being right by the river was incredibly peaceful. A lot of the reviews complained about the road noise but it wasn’t as bad as I expected. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. They have firewood to buy which was nice.
