The Hala — Reviews

Our campsite had a stream of water pour through the site that flooded our tent. We left a day early and stayed in a cabin. We left our tent overnight and when we returned, the tent was flooded again after a rain storm. .No the tent didn't have holes in it.

Camping at The Hala was great. Campsites were a little small. Bathroom and shower was decent. Overall was a great little camp spot.

This was a fantastic campsite. Being right by the river was incredibly peaceful. A lot of the reviews complained about the road noise but it wasn’t as bad as I expected. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. They have firewood to buy which was nice.

First time in hala and its our new place to camp. Clean, beautiful, relaxed place. Come back for sure

Where to begin. Awesome campsites right on the Nantahala. Clean bathrooms and everyone was super friendly. Priced well, tent sites are plenty big and did I mention that its right on the Nantahala river??? We will be back!

Tent site was riverside and beautiful. However, it was also approximately 30 feet from highway, and road noise was horrendous. Quiet hours were not enforced. Bathhouse was nice but did not appear to have been cleaned during our 4-day stay.

The road noise during the night was loud. This may be because we tent camp. We had to cut our trip short because of the rain. We really enjoyed your location!

I will forever be staying at this campground from now on! I loved being by the river. The bathrooms were nice and clean for a campground and it was just an all around great atmosphere

I just really enjoy this place and staying on the river. Worth the price. Glad it is still a campground. Remodels were nice. Happy to be there.

So enjoyed camping along the Nantahala's river. Excellent facilities for showers etc. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

Great place to camp in Bryson City! We enjoyed our stay very much and will go back soon. If you need a camping spot go check the The Hala out you won’t regret it………

New Owners are very personable. The facility was very clean and you can't beat the river views.

Bathrooms and campsite were immaculate. It’s the only spot to camp on the Nantahala which makes this location prime. The water taps at every camp sight was also a really nice perk.
