Fantastic. We did communicate clearly about how many in our party but we got harassed by the office staff for a car placard we clearly had displayed but they didn’t see it. We are multi-time returning customers of this location. We have mostly always enjoyed our stays. Overall clean and enjoyable. We are members of an elite RV club so when we stay at public places we are quickly reminded of how the public places are managed, a bit of harassment….not as laid back, in general. We will return. We have our favorite picks of premium spots.

It’s always quiet, clean, and just beautiful!!! We love staying at the vineyards. This time, the lady at check-in was a little brusque. We’ve never had that before…. Her exact words were, If you’re not out by 12, I will personally come get you out and you will pay for another day…. We’ve stayed there probably 5 times in the last couple of years and we are always out by 11

The Vineyards' camps sites are clean and large with fire pits, picnic tables, and grills. Many of the older sites have covered picnic tables from the days of it being a Corps of Engineers park. Our grandkids played ALL day at the playground, swimming beach, buiding sand castles and fishing. There was never a dull moment for them. The Vineyards also has boat/trailer parking, a boat ramp and kayak/paddle board rentals. The staff at the Vineyards is GREAT!! We have never experienced a more friendly, helpful group of folks. And finally, every Sunday the have Shipley's Donuts!!! The only negative is that when the wind is out of the north, you can here the airplanes from nearby DFW Airport. We quickly tuned them out. Can't go wrong staying here :)

We loved our stay at The Vineyards at Lake Grapevine. The sites were concrete and we had plenty of room for our 5th Wheel, Truck and Jeep at the site. The park was clean and you can tell the park hosts take pride in keeping it that way.

Camp site was nice in good repair. Lots of trees and covered picnic table. Bathhouse was clean and up-to-date. Great amenities including swimming area, play ground, dog park, boat ramp and store.

Even though the campground is flooded in some areas, this is still the best place to be “camping” near Dallas! Great staff, great facility!
