We loved our stay here. Nice and isolated. Only had one other camp neighbor during our stay. Looking forward to go back during cooler weather to enjoy the trails. Beautiful grounds and easy access to the river which we enjoyed with our 2 dogs during the heat. Bathhouse was clean, could use a shelf to put shampoo and such on

We LOVED the wilderness at Belmead!!! It seemed weird at first it was like a scavenger hunt to find the spot after you enter their gate. But once you find it you win the game!!! And the prize! We were the only ones there. It’s a huge open field with spots to the back of it. There’s a covered bathhouse with tables outside of it and a BBQ. Then behind it there’s a small cabin I think you can reserve too. We were surrounded by forest and fields of corn! Birds everywhere. Firefly’s at night. And even some occasional deer would come into the field. It was beautiful.
