Large Camper - Benji
This camper, affectionately known as Benji, is a nostalgic 80s Nomad with a laid-back boho soul. The interior blends the free-spirited energy of decades past with the comfort you need to unplug and reconnect with nature. Our glamper is off-grid, so you will need to be mindful of water and power usage, but our guests find the adjustments easy to make. You’ll get views of charming mesas and stunning skies. This comfortable retreat offers a perfect getaway for couples, singles, or families. THE SPACE This glamping space is a peaceful oasis that combines the rustic beauty of the outdoors with amenities that keep you comfortable. You'll wake up to cool breezes and end the day with extraordinary sunsets and visits from antelope and jack rabbits. It has many of the must-haves of modern travel, though there are a few adjustments to glamping life you'll need to make. Fully Updated Interior: This vintage camper may be from a different era, but it comes with the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The interior boasts a generous couch that easily slides out into a comfy bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Note that this bed is somewhere between a double and a single–it's about 60 inches wide. If you need a second or third bed, the bunk beds offer comfortable twins. Most days air conditioning isn’t needed in this climate, but for those days when we do need it, it is available during the warmest daylight hours. We have a generator that will run the a/c during the day to keep you comfortable. We begin offering air-conditioning each year on June 15. Full Bath: No need to compromise on necessities during your glamping experience. Our camper features a full bath so you can refresh after a day of exploring the desert. A hot shower is also included though you’ll want to be conservative since the hot water tank is small. Cute and Cozy: Benji's interior is decorated with a charming boho aesthetic, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect blend of boho charm and contemporary convenience. You’ve got a well-appointed kitchenette and a few staples that you’re welcome to enjoy. The kitchenette has a four-burner stove, fridge and freezer, and double sink. GUEST ACCESS The camper is set up in a circle drive that affords a tremendous amount of privacy. There might be a few other campers further down the road, but they are far enough away that you'll hardly notice them. Your circle includes two camp chairs, a rug to brush off the sand and dirt, and a small outdoor space. Unique for the desert, fires are permitted for most of the year.
