SAFETY

  • INJURIES OR INCIDENTS that take place on Timber Run Campground property must be reported immediately. This includes, but not limited to: any automobile or bicycle accident, fall, cut, abrasion, or dog bite - even on other dogs or other pets that require medical attention. Incident reporting is required to file a Risk Management Report with our insurance carrier. All parties involved will need to be interviewed and sign any applicable forms. If there is an emergency needing immediate attention, call 911.

  • PLEASE - Drive SLOWLY. The speed limit is 9.25 MPH. Please brake for children, bicycles, pedestrians, and animals. This includes golf carts, UTVs, electric bicycles, and any powered mobile transport.

  • BICYCLE RIDING (MANUAL AND ELECTRIC) is acceptable during daylight hours only. Bicycles are to be kept under control and give pedestrians the right of way. Bicycle helmets are required for all children under age 12 and strongly recommended for everyone, including adults.

  • VEHICLE PARKING Only one (1) RV per campsite and one (1) vehicle per campsite is permitted at any time. Please notify the office if you need parking for additional vehicles. Campground roads must remain OPEN at all times for emergency vehicle and camper access. Boats and extra vehicles must be parked in designated area(s) as stated by the office upon arrival. PLEASE DO NOT park in open campsites as they can be booked at any time.

  • Only licensed and insured drivers are permitted to operate motorized vehicles on Timber Run Campground property. Motorbikes, children's electric power toys, skateboards, electric bikes, scooters, UTVs, and ATVs, etc. must be registered with the office.

  • ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) CHARGING is NOT permitted.

  • GOLF CARTS PERMITTED and must be operated by a licensed and insured driver. Proof of insurance on the golf cart must be available upon request. If a golf cart is found to be operated under an unlicensed driver, the privilege of having the golf cart may be suspended and the golf cart may be removed. Driver's Licenses must be available upon request. If the golf cart is seen being used in an unsafe manner, management has the right to remove it from the campground.

  • POWER SAWS PROHIBITED Use of any type of a power saw for any reason (cutting tree limbs, firewood, etc.) is strictly prohibited.

  • TAMPERING WITH OR MODIFYING UTILITIES AND DIGGING HOLES ANY WHERE ON THE CAMPGROUND PROPERTY (INCLUDING CAMPSITE) IS STRICTLY  PROHIBITED. Avoid personal injury, damage to underground utility lines and our service utilities. Any damage sustained to any part of the campground property by intentional digging, tampering or modifications will result in financial responsibility of the party(s) committing the damage - to include the cost of repairs, parts and labor.

PETS

  • ALL WELL-BEHAVED PETS WELCOME. We do not mandate breed restrictions, but any pet that is observed with behavioral or dangerous issues will be asked to be removed. No pets are permitted in the pool area at any time. We request that your pet is under your control 100 percent of it's time outside of your unit. Leashes should be 6 feet or shorter and retractable leashes are not permitted. Please do not leash or tie your pet to any campground buildings, fences, trees, property, etc. Nuisance barking will be considered a noise violation.

  • DOG PARK Dogs are welcome to use our Dog Park under l00 percent supervision and the owner must be inside with their pet(s) at all times.

  • PET FENCING Please see management for prior approval for pet fencing at your site. Keep in mind the ence should be high and sturdy enough that pets cannot jump over or escape. Pets cannot be left in the fencing enclosure without the owner present.

  • PET CLEANUP BAGS Provided for your convenience at 4 locations within the campground. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet and may receive a charge of $S0.00 if witnessed for not cleaning up after your pet.

  • DOG KENNELS AND DOG RUNS NOT PERMITTED in the campground.

  • IF YOUR PET IS SECURED OUTSIDE it must be under your supervision.

  • DOG KENNELS AND RUNS NOT PERMITTED in the campground.

  • SECURED PETS OUTSIDE Pet(s) may not be left secured outside your camper without supervision. If pets are secured outside, they are not permitted to venture onto other campsites or near the roadway.

  • PETS THAT ARE DEEMED AN ANNOYANCE AND/OR DEEMED DANGEROUS OR A NUISANCE will be required to leave the campground.

  • RABIES AND VACCINE DOCUMENTS Please have available for inspection upon request.

SECURITY

  • VISITORS must report or be reported to the office upon arrival, as we permit up to six campers, to include any visitors per site at one time. Campers + visitors exceeding 6 on a site can incur a small fee. Visitors may park in designated spaces as issued by the office and may not park in the roadways. Any campsite noted with over 6 registered guests are subject to automatic fees to the campsite. Please adhere to any and all guidance stated by management and team members. If you or your visitors are witnessed to be acting in a deterrent or unsafe manner, you will be provided guidance by the Timber Run Campground team in order to remedy the situation. This is for your safety, other campers' safety and our safety.

COURTESY

  • QUIET HOURS ARE 11 PM TO 7 AM Children and teenagers are to be on their campsite during quiet hours. Outside radios, TVs and bright LED lights must be turned off. You are welcome to stay outside  as long as you wish, but please keep conversations and laughter to a level that won't be an annoyance to your neighbors. If your neighbors can hear you, you are too loud. Please keep in mind that it is your responsibility to keep control at your campsite, including your guests.

  • DO NOT CUT THROUGH OTHER CAMPSITES For courtesy and for safety reasons. Please speak with children not to cut through sites.

  • ALCOHOL Permitted and acceptable, but please confine it to your campsite. No glass containers are permitted at the pool. Intoxication and drunkenness may result in either temporary or permanent removal without refund. Intoxication applies when it interferes with the rights of other people in the campground.

  • DUTY TO ACT IN A RESPECTFUL AND CONSIDERATE MANNER Verbal and/or written abuse towards other campers or management/staff will not be tolerated. The first violation will result in a warning and meeting with management. A second violation will suspend your privileges. Third violation will result in ejection from the campground.

  • CAMPGROUND PROPERTY Do not deface any trees or any campground property. Do not nail, screw or drive any foreign objects into trees or tables. Do not remove tree limbs, trim or cut down trees. If there is a problematic branch or tree, please advise management for remedy. If defacing is noted, please notify the management immediately.

  • TENTS WITH SIDES OR ENCLOSURES Tents utilized for the purpose of sleeping/camping are not permitted on any site without previous management approval. Pop up shelter/covers are permitted.

MANAGERIAL

  • GARBAGE Garbage is collected at your site by the Timber Run Team between the hours of 8 AM and 10 AM. Do not place any prohibited items in your garbage: appliances, batteries, chemicals or liquids (including paint or stain cans) drums, containers, etc. in the garbage. Items brought into the campground is the campers' responsibility to remove for disposal. These items include, but are not limited to: grills, antennas, piping, awnings, bicycles, swings, plastic chairs, tables, rugs, awnings, etc. 

  • COMPLAINTS Please see us in the office first and not your neighbor/other campers. We will do our best to resolve the situation. If you have neighbors disturbing during quiet hours, please let us know. If there is an issue that needs management notification, a work order must be submitted to the office. Verbal communication is not accepted. Emails may be accepted, but confirmation must be received from the office staff. Our email address: timberruncampground@gmail.com

Timber Run Campground assumes no responsibility for the safety of our campers and/or their guests. Timber Run Campground reserves the right to terminate camping privileges and remove anyone from the campground for  infraction of the rules without refund. Timber Run Campground reserves the right to refuse service. 

A copy of rules and regulations will remain in effect until further notice and is subject for updates/changes at any time.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

  • Refunds are not offered for early checkouts or for canceled rescheduled stays. Refunds are made only when notice is received in compliance with the following schedule:

    • More than two weeks prior to arrival: Refund less a $20.00 administrative fee.

    • Cancellations received less than two weeks prior to arrival: Loss of one night payment or full payment for holidays/special event weekends.

    • Holidays and special event weekends (Less than 30 Days Notice): No Refund.

    • No Show / Early Departure: No Refund.
