APPLY TO ALL GUESTS
Recreational Use
Trout Lake Campground is a recreational campground.
Campsites are for temporary recreational camping and may not be used as a permanent or primary residence.
Guests may not sublease, rent, assign, or transfer a campsite or reservation without Management approval.
Guests are responsible for the conduct of their family members, children, visitors, invitees, pets, and anyone using the campground in connection with their stay.
A violation by a Guest's visitor or member of their party may be treated as a violation by Guest.
Quiet Hours & Respect for Others
Quiet hours are 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Music, televisions, gatherings, conversations, vehicles, generators, pets, and other activity must not unreasonably disturb neighboring campers.
Quiet hours do not mean excessive or disruptive noise is acceptable before 11:00 PM.
Guests are expected to respect neighboring campers at all times.
Repeated credible complaints regarding noise or disruptive behavior may result in warnings, restriction of privileges, removal from the campground, denial of future reservations, or, for Seasonal Guests, non-renewal or termination.
Management is not required to personally witness every violation.
Visitors
Visitors may be required to check in with Management upon arrival.
All overnight guests must be registered.
Unless Management approves otherwise, a maximum of 10 people total may be present at a campsite at one time, including registered Guests and visitors.
Day visitors must leave by quiet hours unless approved for overnight stay.
The registered Guest is responsible for all visitors.
Management may limit, deny, or revoke visitor access because of safety, parking, occupancy, conduct, complaints, or campground operational concerns.
Pets
A maximum of 2 dogs per campsite is permitted unless Management approves otherwise.
Dogs must be on a leash at all times while outside the camper.
Voice control is not a substitute for a leash.
Pet waste must be promptly cleaned up.
Aggressive, threatening, excessively barking, or repeatedly disruptive animals may be required to leave the campground.
Guest is responsible for injury, property damage, nuisance, or cleanup caused by Guest's pets.
Nothing in this rule is intended to unlawfully restrict a service animal protected by applicable law.
Children & Water Safety
Parents, guardians, and supervising adults are responsible for children in their care.
Children under age 7 must be supervised at all times, particularly near Trout Lake, the beach, docks, roads, campfires, playground areas, sauna facilities, and campground equipment.
NO LIFEGUARD IS ON DUTY.
Management does not provide childcare or supervision.
Speed Limit & Vehicles
Campground speed limit: 5 MPH.
All vehicles must be operated safely and appropriately for campground conditions.

Reckless operation, speeding, excessive noise, or operation while impaired is prohibited.

Guests are responsible for safely extinguishing fires and for damage caused by fires associated with their campsite.
Trees, Vegetation & Shoreline
Do not cut, trim, remove, damage, nail into, or otherwise alter trees, shrubs, vegetation, shoreline, or other natural campground features without prior written approval from Management.
Guests may be responsible for costs resulting from unauthorized damage.
Sewage & Wastewater
Trout Lake Campground provides a central on-site dump station for registered campground guests.
Individual sewer hookups are not provided at campsites unless specifically designated by Management.
Guests are responsible for safely transporting and properly disposing of all black water, gray water, sewage, and camper wastewater at the designated campground dump station.
Dumping or releasing wastewater:
onto the ground;
into Trout Lake;
into wooded areas;
into fire rings;
into storm drains or other campground areas; or
anywhere other than the designated dump station

Guests must use the dump station properly and follow all posted instructions.
Improper wastewater disposal may result in immediate removal from the campground, and Guest may be responsible for cleanup, environmental remediation, repair, professional services, or other resulting costs.
Sauna Use
Sauna use is permitted only during authorized hours and according to Management instructions and posted rules.
Unauthorized sauna use is prohibited.
Guests may not enter, start, heat, operate, modify, or tamper with a sauna outside authorized use.
Saunas involve heat, hot surfaces, steam, water, slippery surfaces, dehydration, and other risks.
Use of the sauna is voluntary and at the participant's own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Management is not responsible for injury, illness, property damage, or loss resulting from authorized or unauthorized sauna use, misuse, excessive heat exposure, or failure to follow instructions.
Pests, Rodents, Insects & Wildlife
Trout Lake Campground is an outdoor, wooded, lake-area recreational property.
Mosquitoes, ticks, flies, ants, spiders, mice, rodents, squirrels, raccoons, wildlife, and other insects or pests may be present.
Management does not guarantee a pest-free, rodent-free, insect-free, or mosquito-free campground.
Management is not required to spray for mosquitoes, provide pest-control services at individual campsites, provide rodent control inside Guest campers, or reimburse Guests for pest-control products or services.
Any mosquito spraying or other pest-control measures performed by Management are discretionary and are not guaranteed services.
Guests are responsible for protecting their own camper, tent, vehicle, food, and personal property.
Firearms, Fireworks & Dangerous Materials
Unsafe or unlawful handling or discharge of firearms is prohibited.
Fireworks, explosives, hazardous materials, and other dangerous items are prohibited unless expressly permitted by Management and applicable law.
Alcohol & Conduct
Alcohol must be consumed lawfully and responsibly.
The following may result in immediate removal:
threats or violence;
fighting;
harassment or intimidation;
retaliation against another Guest;
vandalism;
theft;
illegal drug activity;
serious intoxication or disorderly conduct;
dangerous behavior;
substantial disturbance of other campers; or
other unlawful activity.
Damage Caused by Guests
Guests are financially responsible for damage caused by themselves or their family, visitors, pets, vehicles, camper, boats, trailers, recreational vehicles, or other equipment.
This includes damage to campground buildings, utilities, electrical pedestals, water systems, roads, lawns, trees, docks, recreational facilities, neighboring property, and campground equipment.
Guests may be charged reasonable costs for repair, replacement, cleanup, towing, remediation, or professional services resulting from such damage.
Management Access
Management, employees, contractors, utility providers, and authorized representatives may enter, cross, or access a campsite when reasonably necessary for maintenance, repairs, utilities, mowing, inspection, tree work, emergencies, safety, rule enforcement, campground improvements, or protection of persons or property.
Guests may not block campground roads, utilities, emergency access, or reasonable Management access.
Utilities & Amenities
Management does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of electricity, water, Wi-Fi, showers, laundry, sauna, docks, beach access, lake access, campground store, roads, common areas, or recreational amenities.
Services and facilities may temporarily close or become unavailable because of weather, maintenance, repairs, outages, staffing, safety concerns, emergencies, governmental requirements, or other circumstances.
Temporary interruption of an amenity does not automatically entitle Guest to a refund or credit.
Liability & Assumption of Risk
Camping and outdoor recreation involve risks that cannot be completely eliminated.
Trout Lake Campground includes or may include lake and shoreline areas, swimming, beaches, docks, boating, fishing, sauna facilities, playgrounds, campfires, trees, wooded areas, uneven ground, wildlife, rodents, insects, ticks, roads, moving vehicles, storms, changing weather, slippery surfaces, and other outdoor conditions.
Guest voluntarily assumes the ordinary and inherent risks associated with camping and recreational use of the campground.
Swimming, boating, fishing, dock use, sauna use, playground use, and other recreational activities are undertaken at the participant's own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by Minnesota law, Guest releases Trout Lake Campground, Management, its owners, managers, employees, agents, contractors, and representatives from claims arising from the ordinary risks of campground use and from Management's ordinary negligence in connection with Guest's voluntary recreational use of campground property, facilities, amenities, and recreational areas.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive liability that cannot legally be waived.
Management is not responsible for loss or damage to Guest property caused by theft, vandalism, storms, wind, hail, falling trees or limbs, flooding, rodents, insects, wildlife, freezing, fire, utility interruption, acts of other Guests, or other circumstances outside Management's reasonable control, except where liability cannot legally be limited.
Complaints & Rule Enforcement
Management is not required to repeatedly warn a Guest before enforcing campground rules.
Depending upon the seriousness or frequency of a violation, Management may:
issue a warning;
require corrective action;
require a visitor to leave;
restrict a campground privilege;
require removal of an animal, vehicle, or other item;
charge for damage or cleanup;
cancel remaining camping privileges;
require Guest to leave the campground;
deny future reservations; or
take other reasonable action permitted by the applicable Guest agreement.
Management may skip lesser enforcement measures when conduct is serious, repeated, unsafe, threatening, unlawful, or substantially disruptive.
Management is not required to personally witness a violation.
Management may reasonably consider complaints from other Guests, witness statements, photographs, video, campground cameras, Management or staff observations, and law-enforcement reports.
Guests may not retaliate against, intimidate, threaten, harass, or confront another Guest because they believe that person made a complaint.
Law Enforcement
Trout Lake Campground Management is not a law-enforcement agency and is not required to physically intervene in unsafe or confrontational situations.
Management may contact the Itasca County Sheriff's Office, emergency services, or other appropriate authorities for threats, violence, unlawful activity, disorderly conduct, property damage, safety concerns, trespass, refusal to leave, or other circumstances reasonably warranting law-enforcement assistance.
Management is not required to physically remove an individual from campground property.

SECTION B
