Peaceful and clean

Well maintained all around… Everything was clean, and in working order. Park Rangers we’re visible, and accessible.

Bathrooms and Laundry Facility were very clean. Cleanout station was very clean. Ranger staff were very friendly.

Always a peaceful camping vice at this rustic woodsy park. Even with a large ultimate frisbee tourney going on in the fields nearby, the campground was relaxing as always with great staff rangers that regularly patrol.

Super peaceful camp site. Perfect autumn getaway. The foliage reflecting on the lake was beautiful.

Great weekend

Beautiful wooded campsites. Every site is a large pull-through site. Very peaceful and serene. Just be sure to have extra water hose as water spigot is at the end of the ste.

Good fairly level sites. We are midway into a two week stay. We had to move to another site due to weekend reservations, not the campground fault in any way and we knew ahead of time. 30 amp wasnt working, but 20 was on the second site. No big deal in our van, but might be for larger rig. Wood fort sale at ranger station is a bit damp. Better woods available at Home Depot up route 9.

Love the park itself, but gunshots heard there freak me out.

Favorite campground!

sites are spacious and relatively private. campground is family oriented and quiet hours are observed. staff is attentive and courteous.

Easy access from major highways, spacious, wooded sites…great trails for walking and biking… small lake for boating and fishing. A rustic gem.
