The RV park would have been fine if it was just my husband and me but it was not a good place for our dogs. There were too many unleashed dogs wandering around and loud reactive dogs on the way to the National Forest hiking trails. Other than that, the onsite manager couldn’t have been anymore pleasant, the site was level, the bathrooms clean as was the property. The location was convenient to I40 but still quiet.

Dar & Tish, the lovely couple who host at the RV park/campground, were so very kind, gracious, helpful and welcoming! It's a beautiful location in a forested area, far enough from the city to really feel like you're getting away, yet only 20 minutes from the city's conveniences, should you need them. From Turquoise Trail Campground & RV Park, you can take Hwy 14 through charming old mining towns through the hills to Santa Fe without having to go on the interstate. I'm so glad I stayed here!
