This isn’t my first time staying here but it never disappoints. Although we haven’t seen him this time, the owner is very kind and accommodating. The peace and quiet and easy going non-“corporate” feel makes up for there not being a lot of amenities. There is a kids park, and great fishing. We are parked right on the water. There a public bathroom and a boat dock. We’ve kayaked here before as well. There’s a convenient store about 1/2 or so a mile up the road that keeps grocery, fishing tackle, hot food, liquor and other necessities. The price has gone up since last we stayed but still at this price it’s still the best price around and for the value - it’s definitely worth it. I’d definitely say give this spot a try especially if you love peace and quiet, beautiful water views, great people, and fishing!
