Our second trip staying here. It is the perfect location and the facilities and campground itself is clean and well maintained. New staff since the last time we were there but very nice and accommodating all the same. If you want to be out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to pop into town, stay here!

Great campground, spacious sites. Set up nicely for kids. Will definitely return. Staff was nice and polite. Bathrooms, showers new and clean. Greenbrier used to be our go to Campground, now this is our new destination in the fall.

What an absolute gem of a hidden retreat! Uncle Jim’s River Cove Campground exceeded every expectation for our week-long fall getaway in the Smoky Mountains. Nestled along the serene Little Pigeon River, the gentle flowing water lulled us to sleep under the stars, pure bliss after exploring Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. Fall foliage painted the cove in vibrant reds and golds, and we spotted deer in the misty woods one morning. Our Tent Site 5 was a dream, spacious, grassy, and level, with an unbeatable riverfront view for sunrise over the water, easy bank access for tubing, and a cozy fire ring for s’mores. Showers and restrooms were spotless with hot water and a fresh pine scent, and the camp store stocked essentials plus killer homemade fudge. Shoutout to the warm staff, including Uncle Jim sharing hiking tips for a nearby waterfall. Wi-Fi was strong for trail maps, activities like fishing and tubing were refreshing, and it’s steps from Great Smoky Mountains National Park—we even day-tripped to Dollywood and returned recharged. Quiet nights with just birds and neighbor chats made it perfect. Book a riverfront tent site like #5 for authentic Tennessee hospitality; we’ll be back next fall for families, couples, or nature resets. Unforgettable stay! 🌲🏞️
