Beautiful campground, just to many hills, you need a golf cart to get around . Pool was great. Lake was a disappointment though.

The cabin was great and the staff was nice to call and find out if we were going to be late so they would leave the key. It was a nice get away for the weekend

Not a ton of shade but friendly people. Sites are a good size and the stone prevents quite a bit of mess tracked into the camper.

Very nice place. Pool wasn’t open yet but it looks great. Quiet with lots of space to roam. Many recreational options. Friendly staff

Nice place overall. Wifi not good and unfortunately cell service was not good. It wasn't obvious where to check in and when we did figure it out, there was nobody at the office. A short wait and staff came to help. I would stay again because it was priced correctly for what you get.

We had a day delay in our travels. We arrived a day late, and after hours. The camp host was there to help us and get us on a lot for the night. Great new utilities and flat lot with plenty of space to back out 35 ft. and left the truck hooked up. Beautiful area and campgrounds.

The campground was nice, clean and quiet. The check in/check out process needs improvement. The confirmation email lacked important information like site #, check in time, check out time, etc. It stated the office was open 10am-4pm. we arrived at 3:30pm to an empty office. We rang the doorbell and waited over 10 minutes for a worker to show up only to have him leave to get access to a computer. to get our site information. The check in was very unorganized. We weren't told of any of the amenities on the grounds. The bathroom/shower was very far from our site PT2. The WIFI service needs to be improved - very poor. It seems that the campground was more for long term or seasonal campers.

The site had a significant slope. Three inches of support was required under two of auto-leveling jacks to get them to level the coach. TV reception was poor. Electric hookup, water and sewer were good. The place was clean and quiet.

We enjoyed our time at Walnut Creek! This was our first time visiting and we will definitely come back! The staff was super friendly and helpful, as well as the other campers. They offer a variety of activities that entertained everyone, but the campground was still quiet and enjoyable.

Campsite was great the only problem was the bathrooms are so far away they only have one bathroom for the whole place.

Walnut Creek is clearly a campground for seasonal campers. When we arrived we felt tolerated pleasantly, but not welcomed. We were day campers and were parked in a gravel parking lot that had four or five full hook up sites. Ice was reserved for seasonal campers only and in the morning during our 8am coffee we were serenaded by the lawn mowing which also covered the road side of my camper in grass. The campground does have some beautiful parts and is very well maintained.

We decided to book this spot for a little weekend trip; it’s a little over 2 hours from home. When we arrived, we realized we had pulled a rookie move and forgotten our camper keys. The owners were so nice and able to get us into the camper so we didn’t have to go home. Everyone else was also very nice— it seems to be mostly full timers. The location was gorgeous! The WiFi was questionable at times, but that’s the point of camping, right?!
