We loved the campground and location on the river. Everything was tidy and well run. The only hitch was that site 21, a "seasonal site" was too tight even for our 16' trailer. It is OK as long as no one is on either side of you, but once the other campers are in, I could not see a way to get out. The staff admitted that everyone at 21 wants to move to a different spot. We left a day early to avoid being trapped. The sites were marked with orange paint, which could be moved to improve things. As marked, hook ups were diagonally opposite of the trailer connections. It would take a truck only a few feet long to fit the trailer in with the hook ups in the right place. Hopefully the TVA will sort this out. We would love to go back, but will look for a spot on the river (not the "seasonal area")

The campground is clean and the grounds are well kept. The staff is accommodating and very friendly. I love to camp here.

Beautiful location, great for fishing. Quiet, well maintained, good staff. Only drawback, maybe, No signal of any kind. You have to go up 2 miles to top of mountain to get signal. There are day facilities and picnic areas there. It is also where the Appalachian Trail goes thru.

We arrived late, but all of our documents were ready to go. Sites are beautiful, with super-easy access to the water for our kayaks. Our site was also perfectly level, which meant setting up our teardrop was very fast. Clean bathrooms with hot water and showers.

You definitely feel at one with nature at this campground. It’s a quiet spot and there is no cell service. Although we didn’t fish, it appeared that is a big deal once they open the dam. The staff is nice and helpful. I would camp here again and do make sure you get waterside.

The spots are fantastic, right on the water. You can fish or launch a kayak from your site. My only disappointment was that the women's shower stall was really dirty and was not cleaned our whole stay.
