West Coast Campground — Reviews

Pictures do not match the real ‚campground‘! Pictures in the app only show the tent area (which is super nice) but not the lots for RVs. Sites for RVs and campers are located on an open parking space next to the highway - cannot recommend to spend more than 1 night there. Washing facilities are okay but only one sink for all guests. Please change description and add pictures of the RV parking/camping sites so that future campers will know what to expect.

It’s a car lot with puddled potholes and NO space between each pitch. Dirty bathrooms completed my misery. Car alarms going off all night from people who didn’t seem to care about other campers. The cafe seemed friendly but they need to focus on the campground offer which is appalling. Do not ever stay here.

Great hospitality, amazing poke, nice tent sites for a reasonable price, also has nice clean real bathrooms and hot showers! Second time staying here and the owner even remembered us, will definitely be coming back again

Affordable, friendly staff and has access to hot showers, bathrooms and sinks to clean the dishes.

The staff were so friendly and laid back that it just felt like we were at home with family! The communal fire pit was really cool to meet other campers in the evening too. Felt a bit like adult summer camp!

Great campground, friendly staff. Would prefer gender-divided bathrooms, but good privacy in shower stalls. Rating given because code didn’t work so bathroom was unavailable during night.

It was unanimous.. best sleep we had on our trip across Canada! The host is friendly and did a great job at making us feel welcome. Location is handy as well. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Field was a carpet of potholes with water. it was hard to navigate entry and exit with the trailer

These guys are great. We enjoyed the hostel feel to this place, met some cool people here and had nice conversation around the communal fire pit. Try their Poke Bowls at the restaurant! So delicious. Pet friendly too. Don't forget to get a cuddle in with the camp cat!

Great people!! Perfect spot for what we needed, and it was very easy to find!

Poor general Placeconditions, Potholes all over the ground. No Dumpingstation and RV-Service. No Table on site.

Bathroom and shower facilities were nice to have, the camping spaces are very open with no privacy. Also, it’s a very noisy place as you’re right next to other campers. Quiet time said 10pm but people were partying till after midnight so expect some late nights. Also no picnic tables for cooking your food on. There are communal picnic tables provided beside the restaurant though. Fire pit is very small and is basically a circle of rocks. If your seeking a quiet camping experience this isn’t a good choice.
