Everything was just right

Excellent blend of natural solitude and modern amenities. Such a lovely mid-week stay with almost nobody else around, and everyone else there was polite and respectful. 10/10 would camp again!

The area is beautiful and you can't beat the views. However, we haven't been to this campground for a few years and it was not as good as it used to be. They had just cut the grass and there was piles of large grass clippings literally everywhere, which got over everything since it was humid and stuck to our shoes. The bathrooms were not as clean as they used to be and there was a ton of flies this year for some reason. Even though we kept our food covered they were out of control.

Perfect spot to stay for a quick two day fishing trip The Brookie cabin had everything I needed for prepping simple summer meals. Could have spent many more afternoons out on the back deck. The showers and bathrooms were just a few steps away.

I'd say great but we were a little unprepared...nothing to do with the camp site or anything... that was all good :)

Perfect little tiny cabin for my husband, our dog and I to stay while we adventured around Vernon and Monroe counties. We enjoyed the back deck area of the cabin, as well as all the lighting options. Very short walk to the shared restrooms. Quiet stay, even with many other campers and people tenting.
