West Pinal Park — Reviews

Ended up staying a second night. Beautiful spacious campsite, excellent host. There is road noise from interstate 8, but it didn’t bother us. The positives outweigh the negative.

Nice , clean park. Close but not too close to city. Not too crowded. Had the closest spot to I-8 , so can be noisy at times .

Great camp host! Easy in and out. Would stay again for sure.

It’s peaceful, the campsites are clean, the camp host, Lisa is friendly and helpful.

Lovely (very!) well-spaced sites, lots of privacy from other campers, shade ramadas at every site. Short easy hiking trails. Friendly camp host. Deduct a star for some, though not very objectionable, traffic noise from two adjacent highways. Unserviced is not a problem, but a potable water source would be great if possible.

Camp host was super friendly and helpful. Site was freshly raked and clean.

We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back! Clean portapotties are scattered throughout the park, the sites are large and we loved having the covered picnic table. There is also a dumpster on site, that was nice! The camp host Lisa is very friendly! We felt very safe here. There is some road noise but nothing that bothered us. The park is under a half hour from Maricopa and Casa Grande. There is also a small town about 10 min away called Stanfield that has a gas station, water fill station, bar, small market, and a dollar store. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back!

Great park host and easy in and out. Dry camping in a park that has big sites, cannot be crowded with the location of established sites and great desert environment

The service really friendly impressed, the communication was great positive if needed any contact for campsite, the campsite always neat and the bathroom always keep clean. The Pinal West Park really nice view the desert landscape included smooth rock/sand road to drive and cute small whole of area as simply as good environment!

Great little fry camp area! Close enough to Maricopa and Casa Grande (even Phoenix is less than an hour)but still feels like an escape. Park host Lisa was very knowledgeable friendly and helpful. I would stay again for the max 14 days allowed

Well maintained facility with plenty of room between sites. Port-A-Potties available on some sites and a few others peppered throughout. The sites closer to I-8 are more susceptible to road noise but even this are not bad. Nice walking path in addition to the long winding road that loops the entire park.

This is a beautiful campground! The site we stayed in was large and the covered picknic table with concrete was wonderful. Not something you see in a lot of campsites. We extended our stay to the full 14 days because it was so nice. The camp host was very nice, friendly and helpful.

Great sites and site separation. Very clean and tidy. Loved the trails.

Camp host , Lisa was very helpful and at the attentive. The park has large sites, easy in and out, quiet and calm. The sites close to I-8 might have some overbite traffic noise. We enjoyed a wonderful desert sunset also.

We came in late at night after booking on line….our campsite was spacious, immaculate, and had great desert and mountain views. Highly recommend!

The sites are spread out very nicely. Pleasant walking trails that are well maintained throughout the park.

Lisa was a great help to us! We enjoyed our two nights there and the activities nearby.
