Sites are too close together, not levelled, bathrooms are super rustic, firewood being sold onsite was wet, and therefore super smoky which becomes a problem when 50+ fire pits are all smoking at the same time. Email was sent requesting we check in online so we could proceed directly to our site, but onsite management said everyone had to check in at office which caused delays and traffic backups as people blocked the entrance road during their manual check in.

We thought we’d be able to kayak but the beach and boat launch area looked like a stale slough. There is zero privacy between campsites. The only plus was the front fest attendant- he was awesome

The campground was great. It was disappointing that you couldn't swim in the lake as the water along the shoreline had a lot of weeds and smelled bad.

I understand no sewer on site but then to charge $10 to use the dump station when leaving is a bit cheeky. Just add to the nightly rate. Since I had to pay to use it I took full advantage and did a full flush of my tanks so I managed to gain something for what I was paying for.

Arrived at 3pm to check in and office was closed. Called the number and got voice mail. Asked some guests if they knew who to speak to and they didn't know either. We finally found our way to the site we were given by email and set up. Never saw anyone who worked there the rest of the stay. Small sites and not a lot of privacy. The final nail was the $10 charge to dump our tanks.

Wasn’t able to use the lake for kayaking or swimming. They charge us an extravagant $20 a day for our two dogs and there is nothing there not even a dog park. Dusty. They charge to dump your unit

Although our site was flat & had trees it was very disappointing not having sewer hookups. For 170 sites there were three vault toilets each for men & women at one end of the campground. At the other end the women’s washroom had two toilets & two very basic showers (free). The men’s washroom had one toilet, one urinal & two showers. The play area for kids was pathetic. All of the buildings were rundown & sad. This place has so much land & potential if only someone was willing to put some money into it. We won’t be going back.
