Fabulous people! Fantastic service. The hosts are amazing!! Love this place.

Nice site under trees, so the site was cool. I wanted to book 5 sites for family camp fit 7 nights l in August 2025, but the campground wanted full payment for all 5 sites, which would be over $3,000, plus if we cancel it would cost us $125 for a booking fee, if less than 30 days to booking date we would lose $3,000 that’s not happening. We can book a site in Cochrane for $8:00.

The owners are very nice and gentle! We had booked at the last moment, but we had the most beautiful place on the campground. The pool was fantastic for the kids! I loved there kindness! The coffee was great! I would recommend this place to everyone!

It was nice to get into a pool and also to see kids having the time of their lives! Felt safe and well cared for!

Coni & Carlos were very welcoming and made us feel right at home! Clean, tidy facilities and the other campers were lovely to! Would definitely recommend and come back.

We discovered this gem campground in Mara last year. We had good time so we decided to come again. And boy, I am so glad we diid! The campground is situated in perfect place near Mara Lake Prov Park Beach with great sandy beach which is only about 3 min away. The campground, runs now under new management and owners and the change is noticeable immediately. From the time you enter the office to register you are welcomed with smile, warmth, helpful attitude and positivity. Managers Coni and Carlos are the most hardworking people I’ve met. Whether it was 8am or midnight, they were outside helping campers and navigated trailers to their spots. They worked around literally 24-7 to keep everything clean, organized and in tip top shape. And the apple does not fall far from the tree. Their daughter Celina was one of the hardest working people we have ever met and could put many men in a shame when it comes to work ethic. Coni and Carlos make sure the campground offers fun and activities for everyone. From rock painting for kids to various free games like minigolf, ping pong, core hole to Friday music night, weekend freezies in hot weather to Sunday liquor tasting for adults. The campground itself is spacious with lots of shaded sites, majestic cedar trees, large green spaces with community firepits, nice playground with cool climbing walnut tree and little creek that runs alongside the campsite and is accessible directly from 3 or 4 campand maintained. sites. The office also serves as a Clubhouse - a place to gather in comfy chairs to chat, work, play games, read book or just hang out. Washrooms are nice and immaculately clean. There is also laundry room with cheapest price for load I have seen I long time. The biggest attraction of this campground in outdoor heated pool located in the middle of the campground. Again, since last year there was a huge progress made in improving it. The pool bottom has been smoothened, water is beautifully clean and perfectly balanced I absolutely loved spending my days here and I want to thank and appreciate Coni and Carlos to allowing us be become their friends and for making Whispering Pines place people want to return to. See you next year!

First time camping in Canada and was fun. Weather was a bit too hot , but the lot we had was comfortable, the 15amp did the job for our AC in the Van and kept our fridge nicely cold for our food and beverages. Swimmingpool was very welcome to use, and they had Calippo Orange Popsicles which is my favorite 😁. We will come back but better organized next time. Would also be nice if there would be access to the creek for the guests .

Amazing staff! Most welcome I have ever felt while visiting a camping resort! Beautiful surroundings, sir can be full and yet not feel like you're squeezed together!

Site was nice. Coni was super kind and accommodating, and the kids loved the pool.

Stay was very quiet, even on Canada Day long weekend. Only complaint was the wifi in the park did not reach our campsite. I was unaware of this until I arrived making it quite an inconvenience but overall had an amazing time around Mara

Easy check in with warm pool. Kids enjoyed splashing about. Clean communal flush toilets and showers.
