Great little park Quiet and clean

Peaceful, Quiet and Safe Community

This is such a comfy spot. The hosts and all the residents are incredibly friendly and accommodating, the facilities are clean and always in service, and the area is quiet yet conveniently located near town and Silver Springs State Park. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it! Thank you for giving me a safe and restful place to pass the winter.

The park was quiet and safe. The managers were friendly and helpful. The road into and inside the park could use help and the area around the units never got mowed.

Got stuck in our sight. It was soft sand.

We had zero complaints with our one night stay. We did not use any of the amenities other than water and power. So we do not have an opinion on the bathhouses. The attendant that met us at the entrance was very nice and accommodating. The only thing we did not like were the neighborhood and roads you had to travel down to get to it. They are very sketchy. The roads are rough and sandy. We rode our motorcycle to dinner and these roads are very dangerous to handle a heavy bike due to deep sand and pot holes.

Whispering Pines is a wonderful family owned RV Park in a nice quiet location - about 20 minutes to town but none of the noise and people rushing around. I give this a 5 star Faith (handle Achick)

The proximity to Silver Springs SP is the only redeeming quality of this location. Pictures are not at all representative of the actual park, and it is definitely a park not a campground. 95% of the spots are long term or permanent with many run down looking units. To get there you have to drive on a rutted, dirt road through a very sketchy neighborhood of even more severely run down mobile homes with lots of Beware of Dog signs, broken down cars, and junk everywhere. Hookups are old and patio pad was cracked and unsafe. Bathrooms did not appear to be cleaned regularly. Definitely not daily. The shower curtains are mildewed and the shower floor had pink mold. There were rings in the toilet as well. We booked a week and only stayed long enough to meet up with family at Silver Springs. Stay here only if you absolutely have to and no longer than necessary.

Great quiet spot to spend a few days while visiting the natural springs in the area. Sadly had to leave a day early but the park manager was very accommodating and kind. Especially when I asked to move the site I had mistakenly booked.

If I could rate this a “0” I would. The road in is terrible to start. The “RV Park” is run down and not well kept. No one was available upon arrival and roads/sites were mostly grass with some gravel for roads. We did not feel safe here. DO NOT STAY HERE!

If you are looking for quite and secluded, this is the place. No bells, no whistles, just basic hookup, bathroom/showers and laundry. No wifi. Property was very clean and well kept. Roads leading into it, not so much.

The staff was very helpful and nice. The only issue was that the bathrooms did not appear to be cleaned every day. Would definitely recommend this RV park to friends and would stay there again if we’re in the area.
