Whispering Pines RV Park — Reviews

The park was clean and well maintained. I did not use the bathrooms so I cannot speak to them. There are no ready trails from the park to hike or take the dogs on for a good morning walk, however the loop is easy to traverse and if doubled or tripled gets their energy out. Since it rained all weekend we missed the weekly community campfire and stayed in for almost a full 24 hours. Would have been nice to have the small community room open for a card game or something. Also, many of the sites had standing water after the rain making break down pretty messy. The park was very quiet but that could have been due to the rain as well.

The campground is old, and due to so much rain, the sites were muddy and flooded. However, the bathrooms were very clean, and the campground residents were quiet and friendly. The check-in was easy and the manager was very friendly. Please change the campground sign on US40 from 115 to 118. It would be easier to take the better road. The drive into the campground was interesting with minimal signage.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return. Mostly full time folks living there, so there were some run down rigs sitting around. Laundry facilities need revamping. We ended up using a local laundromat during our stay. Roads are rough in and out. Not to any fault of the campground, but take note to take it slow. It looks like this park is under new ownership, and the owners we talked to were super nice!

Peaceful place with very clean bathrooms, very friendly staff.

Quiet neighbors, it served our purpose for visiting the area. Had to extend a few days and that was easy to do. The only down thing is the road in is so full of pot holes. Glad we were in the area where you first come in as the rain really did a number on the grass and those who had to park on it and all the muddy parking areas. There are a lot of permanent campers and some of the campers are in need of cleaning.

Nice park, bad roads going in. Water stunk like crazy!! Don’t wash your clothes!!

Nice quiet place with very clean bathrooms. Close to all the springs and shopping centers, far enough from the noise. Very friendly staff. 6 stars out of 5.

Wonderful place, quiet, Cassie and her husband( sorry don't know his name) bent over backwards to accommodate us. Really nice people! We will be back for sure!

Quiet ! Simple ! Was perfect !

The dirt road into this campground is absolutely full of huge holes. I can’t believe it’s not cared for better. It’s a cheap campground so I get it but that’s absolutely ridiculous in my opinion.
