Whispering Spruce Campground — Reviews

The area and the view were truly exceptional, offering a delightful experience. Unfortunately, the dust was a notable drawback. It seemed that they sprayed water only once in the evening; if they sprayed water throughout the day, it would have helped with the dust. Despite this one concern, the overall ambiance was quite pleasant. We hope this helps.

on gravel with not much activities for kids. Dusty bathrooms dirty Store won’t sell anything till 1pm. Nothing in store Good one night stay to sleep only but not for family to have few days camping fun

Convenient location, good size pull through sites, friendly staff, a bit of highway noise but not bad at all if you keep your ac on. Also lots to do and see around Golden.

This was our second time to stop here on our way through Golden. Super easy access from the highway, easy to find our site and get settled into. Has all the amenities we want/need. We will stop here again.

Camping was good, bathrooms need a massive do over. No room in showers, cracked toilets or no handicapped facility's . Store was empty, not much for Camping needs.

Would of preferred garbage bins closer and they were over filled

The spots nearest the highway are pretty loud (day and night) but the further spots are dark and quiet. The people who run this site are wonderful - accommodating and so kind. They do an excellent job at keeping the facilities clean. We would absolutely consider staying here again on our travels.

I loved the location and the cost was great. The showers were great and clean, it was nice having an actual sink with hot water to wash dishes!

This is a good stopover with the RV. Unfortunately it is all dirt and gravel so lots of dust when vehicles move. Close to the highway and easy access West or East. The Bad: Sites are small with no separation partition so your sewer connection is exposed and visible to your neighbours picnic table.

Campground is a little crowded and away from town. I think we liked being closer to town but it was fine for a night. The folks who made our reservations and changes were great to work with over the phone too.

Nice spot. Lovely trees. The laundry facilities were top-notch and clean. The showers need some attention. Not much pressure.

Very clean bathroom facilities and campground. Very kind people and beautiful view of the mountain range. Would absolutely love to come again.

Lot was large enough, area was quiet. Washrooms and showers were clean and tidy. Just found the price a bit expensive. Other than that it was good for our 1 night stay. Thank you.
