Whites Creek Lake Campground — Reviews

Small basic campground by a public park and boat ramp. In the trees and roomy which we loved. There is only one pull through and it’s sloped. The two back-ins next to us were also sloped. Definitely need blocks. I think 6 & 7 back in’s were more level. Pretty quiet even with persons visiting the park.

Was a nice place,but restrooms need improvement!

The city is trying to improve the park and it can be really nice one day. However as they make improvements they should do them properly. They have recently install concrete slabs - however they were not installed such that they are level in any direction. Site 8 was so out of level that my leveling system couldn’t compensate and I had rebook my trailer and add blocks. Attention needs to be paid to the placement of the hookups. Site 8 was such that I used two lengths of sewage hose and a park provided length of pvc pipe. With a little planning and attention this can be a small but nice campground. The people directly involved in the park are very willing and able.

Enjoyed our stay at Whites Creek. Made extra special with band Saturday night.

The only reason I reserved a spot here for the night was because their map shows that they have showers. I pulled up this morning to find a single toilet, with a door that doesn't lock, a sink, with no mirror or soap, and zero showers. Had to drive to a truck stop and pay an additional $17 just to get what I expected... A shower in the morning. Update your map, and fix the lock on your single bathroom door.

There was only about 10 campsites they had stray dogs running all around a ton of flies and now our camper is covered in ants

The lake view was excellent. We stayed in site 8 which had a concrete pad and full hook ups.

It’s very quite a d secluded would have liked WiFi and internet

Beautiful view of the lake, nice campsites, quiet, clean and lots of trees.

The site was very unlevel and not enough Rock. It has rained and was very muddy because of the lack of rock on our site.

We thought we were going to have a pull through and they switched us to a back-in. The sewer ran uphill so we didn’t hook the sewer hose up.

Easy to find as an overnight spot whioe driving the Natchez Trace. Sites not terribly level but no complaints. City employees very friendly and checked in with us in the morning. Beautiful view of the lake.

Very peaceful. Fun watching the fishermen. T-mobile has good signal.

Site was so unlevel that we could not level the RV . Could not stay there. I've requested a refund but have not heard back.
