Wild Duck Adult Campground & RV Park — Reviews

So quite and friendly. Bathrooms close by. Nice hot showers. Clean bathrooms. All the hookups for a camper. I'd def come back. The only thing that I didn't like was that a hawk came and swooped up the chipmunk I was feeding all week :-(. Thats nature.

This is a very nice campground. Back in the woods. Beautiful scenery. The people that run the place are super friendly. I will definitely be back.

I had informed when we checked in on Thursday, that my daughter would be visiting us Friday at the campsite for dinner. When she got there she was given a little bit of a hard time and I had to come down to the office to sort it out. I was also told she could not park at our site even though we had ample room & other campsites had 2 or more cars on their sites.

Small campground with great proximity to beaches , marshes, shopping and ice! The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The view of the marsh around sites 30 and 31 are astounding! The wash room was clean and they had laundry facilities but bring quarters .

We really were disappointed when we checked in for a 3 night stay. The campground is really close to a neighborhood that had some kind of construction going on. We were woken up early by the sound of a chainsaw one morning. The sites are very close together so there is no privacy. The worse was definitely the bathrooms and showers. There are filled with mold and didn't seem to have been washed for a long time. The men's bathroom was even worse with one of the two toilets out of order and black mold in the bottom of the showers. It was really disgusting, even for a campground. There is no gerenal store as mentionned in the description of the campground, only expensive firewood to buy. For a campground that advertise ultra clean and modern bathrooms, it was really disappointing. Would not go back and do not recommend.

I really liked the campground it was clean and well cared for.

Check in was easy and the campground is very peaceful. Campground sites are a little too close together, but very peaceful and location is fantastic. In the entry there are two speed dips instead of speed bumps, which are super jarring so drive slow.

We love Wild Duck, perfect for day tripping to and from the campground. Easy commute around. Seasonal’s are extremely friendly, made some wonderful friends! This is our second year, see you next year!

Nice place. The campground has many nice sites, although most are kind of sandy. When it rains it turns it into a mess, but it also dries very quickly. That said, it was a pleasure staying there and we’ll come back there when we’re in the area.

Quiet,clean, and close to everything we wanted to see.

Everybody I dealt with was extremely nice, but I will not stay here again. Sites are much closer together than they appear online. Couple of early season glitches - the dumpster was overflowing from the day we got there (apparently the prior waste disposal company went out of business), and there was either no or extremely tepid hot water for three out of the four days we were there. Bathhouse was clean, but could use some updating. For the price, I expected more.
