Clean facility, welcoming stuff. You can purchase wood there and they deliver it to site. Showers are clean and well maintained.

We have stayed at a number of campgrounds all over Alberta and we found that the fees were expensive. We have paid less fees for a fully serviced site. (Water, power, sewerage) The site we were in was suited for a 30ft trailer and ours is 24 ft and it didn’t fit, had to park along roadway to enable use of awning . It was adequate but not worth the fees!

Very nice location, close to the lake. And it is located in the forest, there is a shower water and toilet, everything you need for your stay

Bathrooms were clean. Our site was right by the lake. So private and quiet.

The campsites were very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The weather was touch and go for a bit there and they went out of their way to make sure we knew and would be OK

They really helped me out on two occasions when I was running late by letting me get in before the gate closed. It really helped us not lose out on the trip. They also were very prompt with the firewood, let you enjoy your time and give you your space.

The first night generators running till 9PM. The second night a group brought their fire pit onto the road and played loud bean bags until midnight. No response from the camp managers of course. Then a random very large off leash German sherpard running around the camp site so we had to lock our dog in the hot trailer for the day. No toilet paper after the weekend. Dead fish on the shore and garbage all over the beach. We walked to the store with our young daughter for a treat twice and the store is never open. The man drove around with a young child holding a garbage picker but he not once got off it to pick up garbage. Sharp screw sticking out of our picnic table which my mom sliced her hand on. Fire pit was a tiny old tire rim you could only fit two pieces of wood into. Broken glass was also found on our site as well as an old nail. It was nice the times it was quiet however if we owned and managed this campsite we would do a much better job. Yes most sites look permanent but you still need to keep people happy.

Our campsite was fantastic, nice and big and well trees. There were some things here that could be cleaned up and improved though, the roadway was hard to navigate and there was no map to show where to go for the site. It was an h serviced site and no close washroom. The numbering system in the sites is confusing. And there was some garbage in the site when we arrived. The playground is also hard to access when you are deeper into the campground. Another one would be great closer to the beach. There is so much potential here to make it amazing but the effort has not been put in.
