Never saw anyone that could remotely be called a camp host. There was no office, no bathhouse. The campground needed mowing. There was constant traffic through the campground from runners and bikers. I had no idea that the park system has a greenway that runs straight through the middle of the road. You had to watch out for runners and bikers when you were walking as to not get in their way. The road noise was terrible, 24 hours a day. We got asked by a fellow camper to put out our fire, because she has asthma and the smoke was bothering her. I will say, that the location to attractions in town is excellent. You can be to the Biltmore in a manner of minutes. There are good restaurants nearby. The river is lovely, and we had groundhogs that hung out around our campsite. The greenway is great for walking or biking, I just wish I didn’t have that much traffic in front of my camper all day long. The sites along the river were level with new concrete, but there was standing water at some of them. I wouldn’t camp here again unfortunately.

Park was difficult to get into, they did not have any restroom or shower facilities, there is a public pathway through the middle of the campground Good things, close to Biltmore Estates, central to shops and restaurants
